sinus headaches, one mean sprinkler, and a small christmas list.

I’m sick. As in, head cold, gross snottiness sick. It’s allergies from all the bad weather. I took on a ridic project this weekend, that I thought I could knock out in no time flat, because I’m a total dork like that. Only there I was, with my kitchen completely trashed, trying desperately to finish, just so my house could feel normal again, and I could lie down. If I’d known I would be getting sick, I wouldn’t have pulled down all the frames the day before…but more on that later. Right after I did this little post on taking it easy, nonetheless. {yes, I have issues.} I thought it would be a quick no brainer. Boy was I wrong…

So. That’s where I’ve been.

In the meantime, I know if you’re anything like me, you’re probably desperately trying to finish up your christmas shopping this year. And you’re probably breathing a huge sigh of relief if you already have. Too bad most of it still has to be wrapped, eh? If you already have it wrapped, I don’t want to hear it, thankyouverymuch.

So, I thought I would list a few things that caught my eye this season. And a few things that were on others’ list…(I think you’ll know them when you see them…and that’s all I’m sayin…) Of course the kids are getting toys, thought I don’t really have any listed here. These are a few that range on the practical side. SO, without any further ado, and with no real theme in mind…just a few things we’ve been eyeing this year…

From clockwise top:

bla bla dolls. OH be still my heart. Santa will absolutely be bringing them on his sleigh for me my kids this year. The’ve been very good…so have I.

I spied this outfit on old navy…and was all fawning over it and stuff. Emerson may or may not be wearing a slight variation of this...as will Malone or Aiden…we shall see…

Found these boots at yayashoes.com for Emerson. Yeah. You totally thought those were for me, didn’t you? Maybe not? either way, I think that’s what makes them so cute! They’re big girl shoes! They have a handsome selection for boys, too. They shipped the next day, and they’re affordable, to boot. (pun intended.)

To the left of those boots, we have quite the interesting pair that Jamin has requested via Santa. I personally think they’re the ugliest things ever and have sworn NOT to venture into public with him if he so chooses to don these. He, however, claims they’re for Colorado this year. We shall see. We. Shall. See.

To the left of that we have the ever present and essential momagenda. I’m on my third one now, and am not sure how I survived without these before. I’m a pen and paper list making kinda gal, so I highly recommend.

These Robeez rock my world. Malone still has to wear soft soled shoes, as he curls his feet up every time we try to put shoes on him…a subtle nod to some war eagleness.

Zumba. I won’t lie. I’ve always thought I was a closet dancer. I mean, my sprinkler was the talk of every partay in college, but I think I’ve just always been waiting to release my inner Britney and rock everyone’s world. Can you blame me? I want to be skinny and dance. So zumba is totally on my list. I’ll let you know how that one pans out for me. Because I think I’m secretly amazing and just don’t know it yet. If that doesn’t work, there’s always my old school Taebo VHS I can break out. WOOT.

This awesome cool incredible phone cover comes in different phone types. And designs. And colors. It’s a little pricey for me, but I just may be caving in the new year and going for it. And for all you bama fans out there, they also come in houdstooth. Since you think you own houndstooth and everything…go for it. {Can you tell I’m bitter? I want to wear it and just CAN’T! It’s cool. I think we own tigers. I’ll just be rocking the tiger print on my next outing…in the form of pants. What?}

This little magnetic robot set is totally adorable for the boys. {Emerson would love it too, for that matter…} The perfect stocking stuffer.

And last (and kinda least) we have the jigsaw for me Jamin. Woot for practicality!

Just a fun lil conglomeration of the mass produced chaos that is christmas. I couldn’t resist, seeing as how I can’t breathe out of my nostrils and all…Hurray for sinus headaches! And nasal spray.
