{and a few extras thrown into the mix}
I have a few fun posts coing up for you this week,
but I thought I’d start out with a little color inspiration this monday morning,
sometimes you find it in the strangest places…but I’d love to turn these shoes into a room. Inside of shoe = hello wallpaper.
I’ve seen these paintings before, but can’t remember who does them. I adore the colors here. Makes me want to break out my oils again, and do something for my kids…it’s been too long.
These. floors. are. awesome.
I want to paint a dresser this two tone wonderfulness.
I adore the combination of shots of yellow with blue…
Especially jewel tones. YUM. Miss Mustardseed is at it again. As you can tell, I’m ready to bring a deeper layer into our home with jewels. If everyone doesn’t stop raving about this chalk paint, I may just have to try it.
Those dark walls are wonderful-but that concrete floor is rocking my world.
Again..want to break out the oils.
An unexpected shot of red works with these tones. Love the accent wall with bright whites.

I want to climb into this bed and crack open a good book.
Adore this giant letter on the wall. Easy to make with our tutorial!
dark blue with greens…
Hope you feel inspired this fine Monday. Have a wonderful beginning of the week!

I’d really like to try that chalk paint… but cannot for the life of me remember the brand name. Do you know? I think the Lettered Cottage had a post about it… just can’t find it now.
….Nevermind. I clicked on the link and found it. Brain is slow tody.
annie sloan……just ordered some today!
The leap painting – http://www.drunkencows.com/ by Roz (after a hint from another pinterest user). I’m totally in love with her paintings now!
Oh my word I’m in love. Thanks so much! Obsessed with her use of technique and color!
you know, sometimes i’m afraid of color, even though I LOVE it, and then I see pictures like these and they make me feel better again. Or it’s not that I’m afraid of it; I just like relaxing neutrals as well…it’s hard to make up my mind. But now I’m in the mood to paint paint paint! Love this post!
