We visited a church on Sunday, and when we came home, I asked the kids what they learned in class.
“We learned about being helpers, and how we can help people more” Emerson replied, and proudly held out a picture. It was a nice little stick figure representation of what I assumed was herself, and our dog, drawn on a cut out of her own hand.
“And what’s this?” I asked, waiting for her to tell me.
“I drew a picture of Chloe and me,” she smiled proudly. “This is me helping Chloe. I told the teacher it’s because she has Ebola.”
You can find me crawling out of the nearest hole I can find when I recover from sheer embarrassment. Ebola… Lymphoma… easily confused? Because little ears prick up easily to passing conversations and a quick stint of mom and dad watching CNN. Our little homeschooled parrot is a bit of a hazard since I can’t blame things on “Sally from class” anymore. Noted.
Sally from soccer, it is.
In other news, we’re totally wearing hazmat suits for the Halloween Festival. You know, just to own it and up the weirdness anté.
So in honor of all things Halloween…
Once upon a time we shared these printables. Circa 2011, to be exact. And we thought we would share them again today, because they’re free and oh so fun from school parties to fall festivals… They’re halloweenies! Free halloween printables.
Whether you use them as happies for someone else, tags to attach to your candy, or something for your child… We thought these kid friendly little prints would be super fun!
We attached ours to some candy. They’ll make the perfect ‘lil treat for all our little ones’ friends. And if you’re anything like us…
On Halloween night, you may miss a few trick or treaters because you’re out with your own little ones. {Or, you want to snuggle in, watch a scary movie, and not answer the door.} So we whipped up a sign to put with your bowl-o-candy. Because it’s always swell to have matching halloween accessories, right?
Or maybe we just need to get out more.
And…
If you want to boo someone… If anything, for the sheer thrill of knocking on someone’s door and running away, like you’re in Jr. High again, it’s just fun. We’re high class like that.
If you want to play, simply click the link below, print, and follow the directions included.
We left it the same design/feel, but black and white for easy photocopying.
TADA! Your friends and fam will think you’re the next Martha Stewart, even if you did just roll up out of bed in your same shirt you wore yesterday and forgot to brush your children’s teeth because you stayed up all night finishing that latest project so rock it!
Want to download these?
Simply click & download print, and cut. TADA! Insta decor / great cards / original illustrations. They print nicely on an 8 x 10 sheet.
Oh! and here’s a few more of our faves of yore – so you can use them now!
Metallic fairytale pumpkins – because, duh. It wouldn’t be Halloween without them. And they carry nicely into November…
