i spy with my little eye…

Happy fantastical Friday, everyone! I LOVE the weekends! Today I wanted to share a few of the things that just made me happy this week. It’s a rando assortment of some stuff people sent me + some things I spied on my own…and wanted to share a little eye candy with all of you. So I hope you enjoy!

First up: Check out this adorable playhouse that Tiffany of Tiffany Interiors sent my way! If you remember this post, you know we’ve got playhouses on the brain, and construction is soon to be under way {We’ve decided we hope it will be finito just in time for Christmas morning-fingers crossed!} But I love Florence’s little playhouse. {Don’t you just LOVE her name?}

Tiffany says her Father in law purchased it for them from a local builder at a charity auction. Can her father in law adopt me? I want one in big girl size just for my back yard. So I can be all see ya Jamin, with the screaming children and go camp out for the night. The little bench outside is swoon worthy, and its chocked full of all the perfect little fixings for a little girl to play. So precious!

Be sure to hop on over and check out Tiffany’s site. She has some amazing before and afters-as usual, displaying her impeccable work! Beautiful, as always!

Speaking of before and afters, sweet reader Leslie took the time to send me this shelving:

She said that she was inspired by our dining room shelving, and this is what she rustled up herself! She wrote:

I fell in love with your barnwood shelving and had to have it for my own. Thought I’d share the finished product…My favoritest trim carpenter did a stint as a steel cutter a decade ago so I figured he would know a metal guy. Indeed, friend Travis is a shop foreman at a steel fabrication shop and happily made my “ladders” to my exact design specs in 3 days. Yahoo! My in laws have a lake house. One of their best friends has a rockin huge log house next door that was built from all reclaimed logs, including some old barns and cabins from her family’s generational farm. So they have this entire kitty of odd century year old oak. My pieces look just like yours and had all the nails too! I asked if I could shop their stash and they said sure! Free wood and ladders in 3 days. It was meant to be, thanks to inspiration from you. Take care!

Just wanted to show you all that it is doable! I love how she took it and made it her own.

Speaking of making it your own…a good friend of mine was randomly perusing the web the other day when this photo caught her eye. Isn’t that button art fabulous? {Be sure to check out how she did it.} But said friend recognized the tricycle print immediately, and sent it my way, because I love seeing how people use our art! It really makes it all worthwhile to me! Such a cute little lamp!

Speaking of art…{why yes, I am having a little too much fun today with my transitions…} sweet reader Jennifer sent me her nursery. I loved how she used our alphabet art!Congrats on her feature on OhDeeDoh last week! And congrats to Jennifer on her precious new blessing on the way. Such a great nursery!

Speaking of great nurseries…I stumbled across this one this week, and it totally made me swoon. The color…the damask, the lace bunting…Great job guys. Be sure to check out their site…

And speaking of great sites, have you ever stumbled across one, and just immediately fallen in love? {No, no. That link above won’t take you to this site. SILLIES!} All dorky jokes aside, apparently I’ve been living under a rock, because I couldn’t be more impressed with this couple’s bravery, gusto, DIY ingeniousness, and all around passion to bring new life to a forgotten home.

Am I the only one who’s been in the dark? I want to start at the beginning, and read that sucka through like a novel! This is something Jamin and I have been casually considering, and it’s just really enlightening to read about their take on it all, as well as the process this has been. Seriously, be sure to read all about them, and check out their gallery ofbefore and afters. I. Am. Impressed. And I’m their newest stalker fan.

Hope you guys have a blast perusing. ;} Happy weekend, everyone!

Oh my gosh. These are all so great. I am soooo thinking about doing that shelving…

    Have a good weekend!

  2. What a fun collection! I have aspirations to DIY/total reno greatness, but alas, I literally have no budget. Oh, and we rent, so I doubt our landlord would be as thrilled as I would be if I totally demoed his kitchen. Bummer. But that’s why there’s pinterest! For the future!

  3. Liz says:

    How awesome is that playhouse?!

  4. Emelyn says:

Drooling over the pictures! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Hey there! I have been reading but not commenting as much as I want to – we have had a crazy busy fall. Well, not as busy as you but still busy nonetheless. After we moved I was having major project withdrawal because it was all organizing and unpacking and chaos – ugh. I finally am back in design mode.
Comment sum-up: Loved your Nate feature, happy you survived Disney, sorry about the car accident (scary), love your recent reader makeovers.
How is kindergarten? I am completely freaking out right now. We have major decisions to make. Kindergarten or T/K. Small Christian school or public. I’m driving myself nuts!
Okay, this is long enough! Happy Friday! And I want that little house too! I would go there each night at about 6:30 when chaos has reached its’ pinnacle….
    :) Erin
