Updated: we have our winners! Congratulations guys, look for an email from us, pronto! And a very special thanks to the generous Home Depot for this super fun giveaway!
This week, it’s our spring break. We’ve had something different planned for the kids to do every day. On Monday it was a good healthy dose of old fashioned greasy pizza and Chuck-e-cheese, followed by a little something fun for all of us.
The Mills fam picked out some flowers, and decided to surprise a few special people with them.
Our neighbors. ;}
The kiddos were so excited about their chosen flowers, and surprising our neighbors with their finds. They knocked on each door, and then sprinted away, giggling. I’m not sure our neighbors knew what to expect. It was a nice little surprise from the awesome people at Home Depot!
And we really enjoyed being random. Sometimes, those random acts of kindness are the best.
Sound a little like Christmas? That’s because Home Depot often says that Spring is their Christmas. To celebrate, they’re having their Black Friday sales event this weekend {3.29-4.1} It lasts all weekend with unbelievable deals on all things live goods-and they wanted to do something thoughtful for someone else. Isn’t that nice?
If you would like to participate in this super fun event, feel free to visit their Facebook page, where you can get your own little printables to put on your surprise plants, and check out the fun spring forward activities that are happening there nationwide.
Want to know the best part? Home Depot wants to give THREE of our incredible readers a 20 dollar gift card, so they can Spring it Forward as well.
Surprise anyone you like with a little gift, from them!
Want to win?

Oh my gosh, hands down it would be our next door neighbor, Frank and his wife. Back in January, Frank saw smoke in our home and knew we weren’t home. He also knows we have pets(1 dog, 2 cats). He ran into his house telling his wife to call 911 and then he ran over here to our house, busted down the front door and found the source of the fire…our gas stove in the kitchen. Not only did he save our pets but I’m convinced he saved our entire home(built in 1860) as well. He and his wife are our heroes now.
