Hello all you wonderful people! We hope this post finds you well rested after a great weekend!

Today, I thought it would be fun to take a look at light fixtures. It’s no secret that I have a serious obsession with them. I literally have three in my possession right now, that I’ve nabbed and plan to install. One might say I have a slight light fixture addiction. They’re the crown jewel and finishing touch for a space. And I think that sometimes, they’re under valued. So let’s peruse a few.

You may have seen some of these images before, but it’s super fun to revisit some eye candy, for a different reason. Let’s check out these spaces, shall we?

I seriously need to get my hands on one of these. How amazing would it look in a kitchen? This light fixture makes the space.

You can only catch a glimpse of this one, but I’m getting a serious sea urchin vibe. Not quite my style, but I have to admit, it brings a lot of interest!

I love a white chunky piece. This would make a great room for a teen. Or me. Whichever.

This simple idea is something we could try in our own homes. It draws me in and does a lot for the space.

I’ve shared this image before, and I love this entire home. That pendant is so much fun! Very DIY inspiring.

These simple, giant globe lights just don’t get old for me. I’m not sure something as simple as this ever will.

I don’t have any giant lanterns hanging in my home, but I’d gladly take one. Or two.

Or three.

This room has such a modern/old world combo vibe. That light really takes it over the top and helps carry through with the modern take on a classic.

I could just eat this bathroom. You can never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, go wrong with such a beautiful, classic, timeless, wonderful piece. Seriously. You just can’t lose with a chandelier.

This entire room is so much fun. The shell-like take on this chandy polishes off the coastal feel.

To top it all off, I thought I’d round up some of our current faves. I think these would work in any space. From bohemian and moroccan, to vintage industrial and full on glam, these ultimate crowning touches would make a space so much fun!

  7. It’s so fun looking at inspiring rooms just to notice the light fixtures. We’re in the process of buying our first house & I’ve been debating whether or not to switch out some of the fixtures. I love so many of your picks! That simple light bulb one is amazing & the first ball crystal chandelier!

    just came across this post. thanks to all your awesome ideas, I now have an obsession with lights! 😉 We are in the process of some minor entryway remodeling (we have someone hired to do it – hubby is not the DIY type!) Tomorrow I should have a chandelier hanging inside my front door! And I just spray painted one to replace the ‘can’t turn off’ ceiling fan in our freshly white painted living room! oh, and I can’t forget the one waiting to be installed in the sitting area of our bedroom! :) thanks for providing me with the inspiration I’ve been waiting for!
