Hey y’all! Happy Handmade Savvy Saturday!
It was a fast week around here. We shared how to make an outdoor toy box, we got honest in things not to do when your home won’t sell, we shared our very favorite tailgating recipes because it’s totally that time of year again {and a new one to boot: pepper jack tater tots!} and a giveaway with arctic cove – be sure to enter under our photo on instagram!
Ohhh and we wanted your help. We’re thinking of visiting New Orleans for the first time ever {neither one of us has ever been – I know. Sad.} in October for Jamin’s 40th! {And I know. We DO think a trip is in order. Sans kids!!!} What are some must sees and must stops and must go-tos that you recommend? We wanted to see some art, old homes, Eat all. The. Food, Maybe even take a ghost tour because we’re nerds like that?
We’re shameless. And we knew we could ask you. We’d love to hear your input!
So without further ado, here’s a few of our faves from the www this week:
this makeover from dream book design
This mom’s incredible costumes she makes for her daughter – follow her instagram account here
that time someone trolled as Target on Facebook {and Target’s response}
refresh restyle’s basement barnwood wall
the twenty most profound things people thought of in the shower
great garage doors {because curb appeal never gets old}
And this video. Why women need to let go. Get ready with the tissues. ;} Refresh if it’s not loading.
Have an inspired day!
PS – WAR EAGLE!

GO EAT AT PECHE. It’s seafood. It’s ridiculously wonderful. And the guy that did the ads for it is pretty handsome (Mr. Creativity). Donald Link is the chef and they just won the James Beard Award. Amazeballs. Here’s the link: http://www.pecherestaurant.com/
Have fun in NOLA!
