{UPDATE : winners below}
Remember our before and after a few weeks ago?
If you missed it, be sure to check it out… it’s a little change up for the master bath, and we’re so glad it’s different now.
Like, mold is gone and so are the hairy pieces of soap, different.
This was my thrilled face when we started demo day. Ten months later, we’re still waiting on the basement, but there’s a long backstory we can’t share here just yet. Hopefully some things will move forward soon. ::face twitches softly as she smiles::
We know. Us and our backstories.
Good story.
But it was a pretty big change to take it from the before… all the way to the after.
It was pretty darn gratifying for us, anyway. And just a small little side note, we do love the way that penny tile feels on our feet daily since we’re barefoot kinda people.
We focus on how far we’ve come when things get a little icky with more waiting for no real reason and all things time frames around here.
You can check out our post from last week, but we had some really great sources for such a small space with big changes.
And one of those sources that we absolutely love, is Lamps Plus. We kind of love checking them out for everything from lights {of course} to mirrors and everything in between. So many things for the home! You really never know what you’ll find there.
But today, we’re here to give something to you, from Lamps Plus!
We’re going old school with an awesome giveaway. Sometimes, we love old school giveaways, and honestly think we should have more of them.
Lamps Plus is graciously giving away one double vanity light to two lucky duck winners.
I know. Say what????!!!!
This light is honestly so beautiful… it offers so much great ambience to any space. We adore the clean, classic feel. We’re so excited for whoever wins these, because we know how amazing they are.
Want to win?
- Simply comment in the space below, telling us where you’d use it, or who you’d give it to.
- Share this on any social media platform, and leave us a little note below letting us know you did. They all count as separate entries, so don’t forget to leave a separate comment.
Good luck guys!
The two winners will be announced here Friday {3.17.17}.
Have an inspired day!

Next week, I close on a condo and will become a first time homeowner. I have been creating a list of projects and renovations for the condo since my offer was accepted. Updating the bathroom is at the top of my list. This vanity light would go perfect in the bathroom that I am envisioning.

I would use this light in what I like to call “the ugliest bathroom in the world.” I’m sorry, but your before picture is beautiful compared to what I’ve been living with for 12 years. The light in mine is still the kind with one long, three-sided piece of milky glass with a screw in the center. Yes, it’s a dream. haha
Pam M says
I would use this in our guest bathroom or use it for our son’s new home that they are renovating.

Gorgeous! I’d use it in our bathroom, of course. It would replace a bright, fake gold fixture that we inherited. Don’t like it. Can’t wait to say good-bye.

My basement bathroom is slowly being pulled out of the late 1970s. This light fixture would definitely speed up the process. Hello gorgeous light!

That would be so perfect for our upstairs hallway bath. We’re (slowly) sprucing up the downstairs one, and it makes me itchy to work on the upstairs one too, but we can’t right now. We could totally put that light fixture in though! It’s pretty similar to what we just put in downstairs, actually.
Rhonda Atwood says
Oh gosh, my house 100 years old and hasn’t been renovated in 25. I so need a new light in my bathroom!

While I would love to replace one of the builder grade light fixtures in my home, my parents truly need the blessing. Their current brass bathroom fixture is no less than 40 years old. One of the lights doesn’t even work. I hope a new fixture can be the catalyst of a bathroom renovation for the recent retiree’s.
Tammie N. says
I love that light! I’d use it in the half bath downstairs. Right now it’s some hideous gold colored thing in a bathroom that looks like something out of the Arabian Nights stories. I’d just like to add that it was decorated like that when we moved in seven months ago. :o)
Beth Miller says
