Last week was one of those a-series-of-unfortunate-events kinds of weeks for us. Bad things happen in threes, and while it was a headache it also had absolutely nothing to do with our health and we know people are going through worse. Perspective. But it still kinda sucked.
So we just took a deep breath and trudged forward. And yesterday, for the first time in months, we actually had a restful Saturday. So that, my friends, is why we did not have a Handmade Savvy Saturday, on Saturday. Instead, it’s on Sunday. We hope you’re having an amazing weekend! I’m going to lay back down ;}
Here’s a few things you may have missed on the handmade home this week:
• Handmade Hideaway – building the screen doors and ladders
• What to do in New Orleans – part 2
• What we’ve bee up to with our business – A laundry and mud room remodel
• Fantastical Fall Sale!
this adorable laundry room redo from Lay Baby Lay
10+ dog bios that will hilariously remind you of someone you know
this addable ottoman slipper from In My Own Style
these adorable monster cookies
5 webcams to watch during hurricane Irma – prayers for everyone in the path
this tour of a delightful treehouse
…Aaaannndddd Don’t miss our sale!
Have an inspired day!

Awe thank you so much, Janet! We are just fine. There was some water damage with our house with Harvey, a small wreck that literally we had no control over, and another expense that came our way. Things that make you want to lay on the sofa and watch netflix after a good cry ;} first world probs and we are absolutely fine. Adulting is not so fun sometimes, and I think we’ve worked ourselves into exhaustion – I actually feel rested now and ready to get back on the horse ;} Thank you so much for your sweet words.
