Even though we’re drowning on the inside with our addition {I think this sentence could have a double meaning?} We’re ready to get busy on the outside, and even tackled some yard work this weekend with the entire family. It can be a lot to keep up with, but it has us thinking about our favorite outdoor projects of the past. And we’re ready to tackle some serious landscaping! So, we thought we’d share some of our very favorites.

Add some easy shutters for some major character to those {formerly} blah windows. We’re amazed by how much character it brings!
Build a firepit… and when you’re not using it… give it a tabletop
Or if you need a little fun now for the restless kiddos…. Have a s’mores party {free printables for inside, or out} – On top of said tabletop.
Paint your concrete to give it some character…

Yes, I think I have spray painted those chairs about ten times each.
And if you’re feeling really DIYish, build a pergola for dining bliss alfresco.
And then throw another party because when it comes to outdoor spaces and all things porches, one must celebrate with parties. We may have had a little bereaved planking in figuring ours out with our weird house configuration, but it was so worth it.
