Happy Handmade Savvy Saturday! We’re thinking of you. How are you feeling? We’ve had all the feelings. We basically started social distancing as soon as we arrived back from Jamaica, nearly four weeks ago. I think that I have clearly seen myself go through all the stages of grief in a cycle, multiple times, at this point. It’s been interesting watching other friends and family around us go through their own stages of acceptance, as well. I have fluctuated from worry, to calm to panic, to talking myself off the cliff, wondering if I’m overreacting and crazy, denial, to eating all my feelings. I think we’ve finally settled into a schedule of sorts. We’re trying to stay cool by thinking rationally, staying home, and just doing our own thing while helping where we can.
I think I’m definitely embracing the calmer parts of all of this, and what I do love about it, is that it has definitely taken us back to simpler times with our site. We’ve enjoyed creating some fun stay at home ideas here for you and hope you feel inspired. Our greatest hope is that you find calm in all of this, are able to enjoy those slower moments too, and that you definitely stay well and safe. Thinking of all of you.
