Hello all you wonderful people! We were thrilled to come up with a little something for all things Easter with some free printables today, and can’t wait to share this little project with you! We remixed a few of our oldie but goodies, and decided that iron-on easter treat bags would be oh so fun to make!
Combo them with these adorable little printable tags {if we do say so ourselves} and you have yourself a full-on cute treat for Easter!
One could even combo out some printed stationery to match {or any of our other free printables} for a full on gift set.
Maybe we’re super nerds when it comes to free things and awesome gift ideas, but we thought it was pretty fun.
We just thought this sweet little combo is oh so great, with anything from basket stuffers…
to something for your fave teacher.
Wanna make some of your own?
Here’s what you’ll need: It’s super simple.
• gift bags – we chose the large muslin kind.
• transfer paper
• access to a printer
• iron + ironing board + an old t-shirt
• cutting materials/ruler
Oh! And you’ll need our free printables, here:
• animal circles
• flowers 1
• flowers 2
• happy easter tags
• gift tags
• smaller version of main iron on labels – this one is optional, but a smaller version in case you decide to go with smaller bags – you could also use these for cupcake toppers, etc.
Print and cut out your printables, following the instructions for the iron on packet for the larger labels. They recommend using a protective surface like an old T-shirt over the placed art, so that you can protect the material.
I ended up placing the art first, with a quick pass of the iron, and then using the t-shirt with the iron firmly held in place for at least 20 seconds, giving the image plenty of time to transfer.
Remove the t-shirt and make sure the image is firmly in place – no lifted edges like the ones shown above.
Once it’s cool in a few more minutes, you can gently pull the protective paper back.
When you’re finished with all the iron on images, your bags are ready to go!
Pair them with the other labels for easy gift giving, and your own little treats for lots of Easter fun.
These make for such a great gift giving idea!
We love the way that they all work together, too.
As always, the possibilities really are endless.
We love the way all these turned out! So much fun!
As always, let us know if you try these free little printables. We’d love to see!
