We had a few friends over the other night and decided to do something sweet and easy for everyone with our favorite burrito bowl bar. It’s one of our favorite little recipes and we used it in ‘bar’ form so that everyone can get just what they want.
{Check out our other recipes here as well.}
It only requires a little prep, and once it’s set up, is an easy fix for anyone – our very favorite is that you can add ‘cheats’ or keep it healthy.
So without further ado: An easy burrito bowl bar!
What you will need.
Here’s what we used for burrito bowl bar {and you can adjust yours accordingly-all fresh/organic ingredients!}
• Chicken {we placed ours in olive oil, and grilled it outside but the oven would work just fine} • spinach {you can use whatever you want as your base lettuce – we like to make our greens count!} • brown rice • avocado • salsa • olives • cheese • yellow peppers • cilantro • tomatoes • corn • limes {a dash of lime juice on top adds major flavor} • chipotle sauce
We garnished ours with some homemade chipotle sauce:
You’ll need: • 1 cup greek yogurt • 2 tbsp chipotle sauce • 1 clove of garlic pressed (or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic) • juice of 1 lime • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix everything in a small bowl until blended thoroughly. {Adjust ingredients to taste.}
Simply place your ingredients out, and mix them up!
You can alter them to match whatever you like. This would be such a fun idea for a Cinco de Mayo/Birthday/Ballgame/Baby Shower/fill-in-the-blank-here party!
It’s a big winner at our house and a super easy party food!
As always, let us know if you try our burrito bowl bar!
And you can grab a Moscow Mule here.
Have an inspired day!

The burrito bar is great, but I’m loving the garland. Have you posted a tutorial on that?

Who needs Chipotle anyways? Plus yours is so much prettier. Great idea and beautiful as always.

Hmm…thinking a burrito bar for just us 2 might be a good option for tonight! Will definitely keep it in mind for a group though – great idea.

Yum! Smart idea.
I think it makes perfect sense to set out all the tasty ingredients and let your guest make what they like.
Love it.
