Just wanted to let you know I had Chloe on my mind and read her update with “amen”s and tears in my eyes. I know so well the whole bring-your-wild-shelter-puppy-home-pact. You made the best choice I think. All of it is hard no matter what. You know how I feel about Tucker and Merlin. Particularly my Tucker. I got him in college for my 21st birthday – in the middle of lonely heartbreak of grieving my dad, grandmother, and a failed extremely long relationship – and he saved me. God sent me that dog and those tail wags and nap snuggles and face kisses and he saved me.

I know Chloe is all that and more to you and Jamin. I cannot imagine what you’re going through. (I’m already prepping myself and Tuck is only 8!) My heart breaks for you guys. She’s your mascot – even back when you were Pure + Lovely!! CJ and I will add her to our prayer list. Dogs are not just pets. They’re a part of our family tribe. She seems like that once-in-a-lifetime pup. Hang in there, sweet family. We love you!!

She is blessed to have a family like yours! You really need to read this article. It is very intriguing. I pray you will give it a chance and I pray it will help your Chloe.

About Chloe: I am so so so sorry to hear she has lymphoma. I just had to put our little beagle girl down yesterday and how I wish we had caught her cancer sooner, but her vet showed me the ultrasounds and X-rays, and there was just no way she would have survived any treatments. I am so thankful you guys caught on to Chloe not feeling well soon enough where she can be treated and give your family some more time. She’s a beautiful girl and I hope y’all get as much time as possible with her.
