Hey everyone! It’s that time of year where sprucing things up is really important around the outside of the house. Yard work and home improvement projects are in full swing, and what better way to tackle them with a great tool?
We’re really thrilled to announce that just in time for Prime Day, there are some amazing deals for Greenworks going on!
We’ve rounded up some of our faves, but be sure to check out all the fabulous deals here – because it’s perfect timing for father’s day, too!
1. cordless lawnmower /2. dual speed cordless leaf blower /3. cordless pole saw with hedge saw / 4. cordless chainsaw /
5. brushless impact driver / 6. pressure washer / 7. string trimmer / 8. power inverter / 9. brushless trimmer – and more!
It was nice to get things all cleaned up, but we wanted to tell you more about the process of sprucing up our back porch! Because we’re nerds like that, and if you’re anything like us, good tools make you happy!
We blew everything off and cleared it away using the Greenworks 40v blower, but we had some major spots on our composite deck, and couldn’t figure out what it was. Since composite decking is supposed to be “low maintenance” we were a little confused about what it could be. As it turns out {with the help of google} this is mold and mildew {EW} that have settled into the fibers over time. I mean, at first I thought they were waterspots but what do I know? Because they weren’t budging.
Side note but the other day in a bouquet of mixed flowers, my tulips were suddenly taller. I just learned that they continue to grow after they’ve been cut. I was today years old. Cool. Story.
So we decided we wouldn’t stand for mildew on said back porch, and it was time to give it a good clean.
This is a great angle where you can see those water droplet looking things – especially where the deck has gotten wet on the middle stair. Some of them are splashes from the pressure washer, but if you look carefully on each side of that stream of water, you can see within the wet area, the spots that weren’t seeming to budge.
If you look on the left side of the stream from the pressure washer, you can see where it took the spots right up!And on the right side, here is a good shot of that before. Who knew all it took was a nice pressure washing?
Here it is again, in-process. And here it is, mostly dry, after just one pass. It has some spots on the risers, too. So weird.
Here’s the after: Middle section = much better. Left upper stair and bottom stair = mildew spots.
GROSS.
This pressure washer DOES NOT mess around. It’s so satisfying to see everything all cleaned up! We were so excited to share, sometimes it’s just the little things. If you need me, I’m doing the entire house, next.
Ahhh adulting. Heck, we’re not even adulting anymore. We’re middle aging. And by middle aging, I mean we’re in our PRIME when we’re stoked about spot removal. I’ll be here all week with my mom jokes.
Enough of my spot analogy. Be sure to hop on over to the Greenworks Tools’ Prime Page to check out all the amazing deals they’re offering for Prime Day!
We hope you’ll check it out.
Have an inspired day!
