psssst…. shop our spaces here!
Today, we have a fun part three half bath remodel, and a little more of what we’ve been up to lately.
Because working with some great friends of ours, and the total overhaul of their house is always fun. ;}
{pssst… check out Union + Dixie candles here!}
But we’ll give you a quick back story, for some perspective on their house if that helps first.
You know… Just in case you’d like to peruse a little more.
Remember the kitchen redo of all redos?
We hope this jogs your memory.
Be sure to hop on over and check out more of it if you wish!
This home has been such a fun project!
Here’s their floorpan with the before…
And after – to give you a little perspective. Things aren’t quite where they used to be, so for this bathroom in particular, there really is no before. In a sense, this space was divided {the before – left side of the floor plan} into three parts: kitchen, bonus area/study, and laundry/mud room. It went into highly functional mode.

So this space didn’t exist before. On an overhaul this detailed, it’s hard to explain through photos where exactly things are now.
Because you may remember the mudroom post {part two of our reveals portion} where we shared their laundry/mudroom not too long ago, when we took the rest of their home from this:
To this. You can see more of this space, here.
So here we are with more of the half bathroom remodel!
It was important to Brooke and Brian to add some major character to their small space, as this is their half bath that most of their guests will see.
So we were more than thrilled to help them piece some of their favorite elements together and create something inviting…
Small spaces need love too. ;}
With brass accents, a pretty little top mount porcelain sink, and soapstone {but of course!} it’s all in the details.
Brooke is a big believer in original art for their home {which obviously, we love too}.
So this gorgeous found print from an artist’s printmaking is one of her favorite and simple finds for the space, that also adds a lot of character.
half bath remodel – simple pattern tile
The tile was another great way to do that, in classic tones with simple pattern.
This shall henceforth also be known as the most difficult space to photograph ever, but we hope you get the gist. especially with that beautiful light. While I don’t like the way the photo turned out and don’t feel that said photos do the space justice, I’m including the potty area of the bath so you can see how it’s all laid out.
half bath remodel – gold light fixture
Who knew a smaller space with lots of warm love could be so majestic?
Especially in something as seemingly tiny as a hallway bath.
Thanks for stopping by… we hope you enjoyed this sweet little tour of one of our latest redos!

This is gorgeous but simple all at the same time. Loving the contrast with the rustic tile and brass fixtures!

The bathroom is gorgeous! And every single time I see a picture of their kitchen floor I fall in love a little more. It’s so beautiful and unique and I want it so bad and how did they even do that. (my thought process every time I see it)
