Hey Kelly! I get it- it’s so tricky. Malone has even missed out on some of Aiden’s clothes because I’ve forgotten them in the past- it gets crazy and frustrating. My boys aren’t as close in age as yours, but here’s something I’ve done in the past: tupperware containers, clearly marked and stored in our attic. At least they’re out of the way until I need them. (Just don’t forget they’re up there- thus the clearly marked) also, the cubbies are working well (the ones you see in our family closet) as well. I have a special section for clothes aiden has grown out of that malones close to fitting in to, that I set aside and keep an eye on to use when I need them.

At the end of the day it’s different for everyone but it’s what’s helped us stay on top of it all- it can be so overwhelming. I hope a few of these help- I just found that when they grow out of things so fast, drawers weren’t really helping unless they’re clearly labeled. I have an issue with sizing and storage. When my oldest grows out of something, I know it won’t be long for my little one to fit into it, so I throw it into a basket at the top of his closet. I also have a problem with buying bigger sizes (if I get a good sale, end of season stuff, etc) and then hoarding that size until my oldest is ready to wear. It’s all getting out of control. The sheer volume of clothing is overwhelming… Do you do this with your 2 boys? How do you organize it all? Right now I have no less than 4 sizes of clothing taking over the bedrooms… HELP!!
