Hey guys! As promised, we’re thrilled to be back to share a few of our favorite sources for the bathroom reveal from last week!
It made such a huge difference for the kiddos, for sure.
Paint
We knew we wanted a classic look throughout the house. We’ve already covered a little of our paint colors in the home, but for this space, it only felt appropriate to go blue.
While most of the rooms upstairs have blue shiplap ceilings, we loved reversing the scheme for the kids bath. You’ll find SWIMMING {HGSW1327} on the walls, and a simple PURE WHITE {HGSW4006} on the shiplap ceilings + trim.
Tile
For the floor, we selected a simple penny tile. We adore the clean, classic feel of an easy-to-care-for penny tile. Especially in a kids’ bathroom. Bonus: it feels awesome on your bare feet. You just can’t beat it.
And the rest of the tile is a simple combo of this tile, here + here. It’s a bit of a twist on the classic, with a soft, wavy feel. Especially when layered in a brick pattern with stripes. We took it all the way up to the ceiling of the shower/bathtub area for a great, clean feel. See more of the detailed shots, here.
Tub
We enjoyed adding a custom touch to all things bathtub, since we were a little more limited than we initially thought. We selected a tub similar to this, with no pre-drilled holes.
Fixtures
We love the classic feel of these faucets on each sink.
The kids adore them, and they make for easy cleaning… They swivel, y’all.
Owl toothbrush holder
Owls are their current animal obsession since their school mascot is the owls. So when we saw this little toothbrush holder, we couldn’t resist.
Clothes Hamper
Laundry is a little challenging right now with all things unfinished basement – read: acrobatic feat. It’s good to have one spot where the kids can toss their clothes… and us, too. We grabbed up this hamper from Target, and when it’s full, I know it’s time to load the laundry again.
The hand towels are available through us.
Storage baskets in the closet-turned-awesome-hold-all-the-things are available through us.
The soap dispensers were purchased through Target.
Shower Fixture
We love this rain shower here– especially for growing boys. It has a great feel to it, and we used a custom placement to kick it up a notch in the bath.
Hooks
We love these underneath the window for a great space and all things towel drying. D. Lawless is our go- to. We’ll need all the help we can get, and these tie in the entire look.
Towels
A splash of color mixed in with our usual whites {Costco, y’all} is always fun. This is the same company we ordered from for our last bathroom redo, and our favorite purples. We love this fresh pop of orange!
Rug
In something simple because we want to show off as much of that fun penny tile as possible. And a little bit of personality to boot.
Vanity
We liked the clean classic look of this vanity with plenty of storage. And especially the grey, to bring in a touch of depth to the space with color.
Hardware
And we were looking for something a bit more substantial in the knobs, so of course we turned to our fave source for hardware. We love this milk glass in a beautiful classic look to contrast with the modern feel of the vanity.
We carried it to our cabinets on the wall, as well.
Lighting
The bathroom sconces were purchased here from Birch Lane.
The ceiling light was another addition that we love – I’d initially planned to keep the ceiling light, but it was lost in demo even though I tried my best to hold on to it… I still say we have a ghost because it made absolutely no sense. ;} But happy endings… because I scooped this one up from here.
Mirrors
We found mirrors similar to these, and we love the classic look of these clean, classic porthole mirrors for the boys. They open, so in the future, we plan to create more space in the walls with a little idea we have up our sleeves. Stay tuned for that one, too.
The World is your Oyster Print is available here .
Toilet paper holder here.
Stool
This adorable little stool. We’ve already found about a zillion little uses for it, and something stable yet stylish always helps.
Hallway Light
We have more coming up on this soon, but we love the hallway lights from lamps plus.
Barn door + Hardware
We hand built the barn door, and have more coming up on that. But we ADORE the hardware and easy hanging system {as always} from Artisan Hardware.
As always, let us know if we left something out. Thanks so much for tuning in, and we hope these help with anything you may have going on!
Have an inspired day!

Oh my! Love everything you’ve done to transform your home!!
I have a quick question- how do you lock the bathroom door…?

I was wondering the same thing! 🙂

Hey guys! Right now, we don’t. We have three kids who know not to open the door when it’s closed. We just moved in a month ago, and we’ve been adding all the little details one day at a time – {right now, our mirror still isn’t even up in our bathroom ;} When we add it we will have a full on post just for that. We’ve received too many questions not to. ;} It will probably be a simple latch. Hope that helps!
