Wow, it looks awesome. We inherited an old 70s-era upright from my inlaws and it’s seen better days – very similar. My musician heart would never have thought of painting it. How did it turn out? Hey! This piece was actual a custom piece we welded together out of 1 inch tubing and then cut the wood shelving out of 1×6 premium pine. Hope that helps.
