You are not old. I am not old (I don’t think so anyway) and I have two children who are getting closer to 40 every day and one who is already 40! My first grandchild will be 18 tomorrow! Where did the time go????

Haha! I have a theory with my friends that all mean comments on social media {and blogs} come from someone with cats as a profile pic. Many, MANY times this has held true, to the point where it’s just funny to me. I’m picturing some angry person with a cat as said profile pic, leaving rabid comments on every single news outlet they can find a-la facebook. It however, does not apply to everyone. You, my friend are CLEARLY at the 25% and I like cats too! Though I AM allergic. Between this and my crossfit/plexus comments I’m sure to get under someone’s skin. ;D

I’ve been on the so-not-fun insomnia ride over the past week too, mostly thanks to stress over my biggest-stress-of-the-year-work-thing on Monday (which went well!), the completely unusual waking of my small children, and ALL the things. A triple Belgian helped me stay asleep one night, but alas, my voice has been taken captive by the lack of sleep and … I spend my days teaching teenagers! (Fortunately, they’re super awesome, and they just laugh at me and do their work as I type/talk to them over a projector.) 🙂 Hope you keep your voice for your presentation … and may we both get more rest soon! I feel your pain. Although when my kids were smaller,I could get all the laundry done, wash the floors, clean the bathrooms, all before they woke upat 6 a.m….but dinner time was a beast. By then I was so done! I have just realized that that is my destiny and rather enjoy getting things done in the quiet. Although, I fear I will become the crazy neighbor planting flowers at 5 a.m. or something…lol
