Hellos. We are totawy back today to tell you a special stories. Are you ready? Once upon a time, there were two pwetty awesome sistuhs that needed a good homes.
It was waining that day, when the daddy humans came and gots us. Not the soft kind that goes pitter patter. But the really wet kinds that makes the muds that we likes to rolls ins. But we are getting off topic hewes.
We were headed toward a shelter if no one came and got us, and we needed to be ‘dopted. We know now that our parents love to ‘dopt puppies that need a good home, and that’s where ouw big sister Chloe came from. When they saw us after losing her, they knew they wanted us. At that time, we were with our birth mommy still, but we were three months old and it was time to get a good home.We remember the first time we met the daddy humans- he said something about a surpwise for some little humans, and that if we needed a good place to go, he would take us. This way we would not be split up.
Can you imagine, if we were split ups? Oh my goodnesses the twadgedies of lost peanut butter bondings! We love each other sos.
So into the caw we went, for a dwive home in our shiney new cwate with nice warm fluffy towels in the back of the caws. At the time, we did not know what a caw was. Or what driving was. Or why it moved so much. This was quite unfortunate for the daddy humans, because on the way homes, we decided we did not like the way this caw thing moved.
We got weally sick. Weally weally sicks.
And of all the things fow us to get sick with, the deer meat that the birf mommy had found for us in the woods that morning, that we had gorged ourselves on, came back up. Again. And again. And again. And again. And again. And agains.
And the new daddy humans had to stop on the side of the muddy muddy woad in the middle of the wainy wainy day again and again and again and clean it up so we did not woll around in its.
It was howwibles. We will never touch that stuffs again.
Probably not because we were twaumatized, but because the daddy humans had to clean it up about twelve times. It was not vewy fun. And we did not smell very goods. He was actually twaumatized, and was all, What did you eats?!
We had big bellies that morning when he came and gots us. By the time we got back, we did not have the big bellies anymowes. We got to know the daddy humans weally well, weally fast, and we’re just weally glad he was a nice humans. He took us by the vet who took care of the Chloes, and they checked us out, and gave us a baffs because we were so stinkies.
Then we went home. As soon as we saw the little humans we would be staying with, we got so exciteds. We got to sit in a box and suwprise thems. We knew it was all going to be okay. They weally missed the Chloes, and told us all about her and how she was their best fwiend and how she had passed away from cancers. They were very sweet and gentle and lovings with us.
The little humans gave us both ‘Chloe’ as our middle names. We think that is vewy fittings.
They missed their fuwwy friend and needed someone to love.
So did we.
Doggies come into homes in lots of diffewent ways. Doggies need homes, and we love it when the doggies who do not have a famiwy get ‘dopted. It’s something neaw and deaw to our heawts. It’s a vewy impowtant, life changing topic, if you ask us.
{So is bawfing up raw deer meats in a caw in the wain… but we alweady told that stowies.}
So we’re really excited that ouw family decided to team up with Mars Pet Care and Pedigree™, and that we get to share the amazing things they are doing.
If you guys have been weadings for a while, you know we awe moving to Nashvilles soon. Whatever that means. But guess what? They are doing some amazing things in the Nashvilles. Things all the Nashville puppies and humans can weally wag their tails about!
Did you know they just unveiled their “Pet-Friendly Communities Initiative”? This means they will be holding free ‘doption days with three area shelters, a $10,000 donation to the Nashville Parks Foundation, and Additional donations to 28 rescue shelters in Middle Tennessee.
We did not want to go to a sheltews, because we wanted a homes. But sheltews are really impowtant because they do their best to find homes for fuw babies. This is weally exciting stuff and vewy important for all the fuw babies out there.
Ou new friends at Pedigree™ believes in making the world a better place for dogs. They are really helping the shelter dogs find forever homes. This is very importants. They know that good foods, extra attentions, and loving cares can change our lives- Especially shelter doggies – in a big way. More than four millions puppies enter shelters each year. This makes us vewy sad. Because of thats, they work hawd to support the transformation of shelter dogs into pets with good food and loving fowever homes. Since 2008, way before we were borns, they’ve donated more than 20 million pounds of food to shelter dogs in needs. This makes us happys.
In 2014, Pedigree™ worked with Greater Good to provide renovations and dog food donations to 48 shelters in the lower 48 states. This is vewy nice of thems to helps the shelter dogs that need the homes.
But here is more important stuffs. Apparently there is this guy called Mayor in Nashville, which means he does good stuff for the cities. Under his leadership, they will be opening new dog parks. New dog parks are important because we get to sniff, and plays, and sniffs and bawks and plays some mores. We awe so excited we can barely contains ourselves. They include:
Pitts Dog park – it has six acres which means we gets to run lots. Two acres are the dog pawks, and four acres of wooded walking trails which have off-leash walking. Can you even imagines?!
Two Rivers Dog Parks – both seven acres! More bawking and playing and sniffings!
Riverfront Park Dog Park – which is 14,000 square feets. That sounds like a lot of feets. We will sniffs them alls.
They have been adding 4,500 acres of new parkland, 14 new parks and 6 park expansions in the past eight years, increasing parkland by 25 percents and increasing greenways by 50 percent with 40 miles of new trails. Additionally, 21 water fountains have been added across the city, featuring doggie bowls just for us! We like to dwinks the waters on a hot day from all the sniffing and bawkings. This is impowtants. And vewy fancies.
They will also be having lots of health events, including 100 miles with the Mayor, Mayor’s Challenge 5k, and Mayor’s Field Day, which welcome pets like us so the humans can be active with their fuwwy friends. They want to increase the ‘doptions and promote responsible pet ownerships. This is vewy exciting!
We awe now officially thrilled about moving to Nashvilles and playing with this Mayor guy in all the pawks! We will have a gweat times with Mayor.
But if you do not live in the Nashvilles, no wowwies. There is more important stuffs to know.
Did you know that the Waltham Centre for Pet Nutrition is a leading scientist place for well-being that was founded by Mars more than 50 years ago? Having a pets isn’t just fun.
Pets awe good for the humans. They bwing out the good in the humans, because ouw innocence helps the humans reconnect with their own. We do not know what this means, but it sounds like good stuffs to us.
Did you know that we reduce the risk of heart disease and stress management to promote healthy, active lifestyles? We offer friendship and help with the emotional connections. This means we give good snuggles and walks and sniffs and bawks.
Did you know that doggies and other animals can also help children cope with a variety of ailments like depression, emotional disorders, and even poor immune function? We promote the social skills, too. We are so good at the social skills.
And did you know that pet owners are more likely to meet new people in their neighborhoods than non pet owners? We have met so many peoples, so we can tell you this is trues. We sniffs and licks them and wags our tails and we gets petted lots.
Our mommy humans keeps saying we are her therapy. We do not know what this means, but we guess this is why! This is important stuffs, guys.
We just lost a little of our bladder contwolls we have been working so hard on, since we can barely contains ourselves over all the good news we got to share todays!
We are so glad to share this important stuffs, along with our bawfing ‘doption stowies. Because bawfing ‘doption stowies make everything better. Happy pet awareness, everyone. Here’s to helping other little fuwwy friends find good homes everywhere- remember to help the shelters in evewy way that you cans!
