I've been DVRing all of Nate Berkus's shows, and I was lucky enough to watch the one with your House Proud today! That was 11am. It is now 9pm, and I'm sitting back enjoying my gorgeous wreath and star that I altered a bit after seeing your driftwood version. I ended up using a box top ($2! From Hobby Lobby) instead of cutting out my own, and I wrapped it in left over fabric from my wreath. It will soon become the newest addition to my gallery wall in my dining room. I'm officially your number one fan!! I love all of your ideas! My next goal is to find a welder and recreate your recreated coffee table! Thanks so much for your ideas!

Love this! I actually made a ruffled wreath in the spring and hot glued a starfish on it for summer. I was looking for a wreath yesterday so I grabbed my trusty ruffled wreath, pulled the starfish on, whipped up a couple white felt flowers, and hot glued them on. Love that it's interchangeable!

As i live in Saskatchewan's neighboring province i too was wondering how you knew about it. Thanks for the Canadian shout out of sorts. Lazy home decor, hmmm...the only thing I can think of with my tylenol cold and sinus brain (yucky flu day) has to do with home scents. Whenever I'm making a pie or apple crisp I throw all the apple peelings in a pot of water to simmer on the stove. I add all the spices that I'd put in the pie and a couple cinnamon sticks and voila!! Instant homemade pot pourri that smells amazing and fresh and was free! Just keep an eye on the water level or you'll be scraping apple peels off your pot for days.

Hey Julie! Not to un-impress you or anything, but I just like the word. It's so fun! It's in the Brouhaha and Bamboozled category for me. And I do spellcheck. Believe it or not... ;}
