{Pssst… stay tuned! We have a little survey for you below! }
It’s no secret around here that our passion is a good inspiration board, or mood board when it comes to helping our clients select the best designs. It’s the best way to communicate our vision for a space.
We love that Jeffrey Court is hosting a mood board challenge, and we’re so excited to see what everyone submits! So when they asked us to share our best tips for creating mood boards, we were honored to share some of favorites. Be sure to check us out on their fabulous site if you’re interested in participating, for some of our favorite tips! And be sure to check out the entire contest… we can’t wait to see! We hope we can help in any way, and may the most creative boards win!
Be sure to check out all the details behind the mood board challenge with Jeffrey Court + all the fun tips we’re sharing.
• 10 winners will receive the tile featured in their mood board.
• 5 winners will receive a $100 visa gift card.
• 10 winners will receive a $50 visa gift card.
We also wanted to take a moment and check in with you guys.
We feel like from free printables to remodels, you never quite know what you’re going to get here in our little corner of the internet. Life is organic, so we tend to keep our content that way, sharing what we find fun, or inspiring, in the moment with projects along the way.
I also feel like sometimes, it’s really hard for us to share what’s going on behind the scenes because there are so many moving parts. Things have a tendency to get away from us, until the very end.
Some of our favorite elements, are bringing spaces to life, from their initial concept all the way to the end. Because we work with clients there are some things we can’t always share, that go on behind the scenes.
But we do love sharing the process.
So here’s the age old question.
Do you like seeing more of the realistic parts behind what we do?
Or do you just like the pretty reveals?
Do you enjoy the process just as much?
And… part two of my question, we have quite a bit going on behind the scenes right now, and I guess I want to know… what would you like to see more of it here?
What do you enjoy?
Behind the scenes?
Before and afters?
Skip it all and stick to free printables?
Parties?
Fun finds?
Family life?
Quips and humor? At least what I think is humor?
All of the above? None of it?
If there is something you haven’t seen here that you’d like to see more of, or anything you miss that you wish we’d bring back… We’d love to hear more of it.
Let us know!
We’d love to hear from you.
Have an inspired day!

I really enjoy your blog and would love to see more process and progress. I live a bit vicariously through you all. I find the process from beginning to end really interesting. I love hearing about how it all works together.

Hey Cortney! Okay. It’s so good to hear this. This has been said before, but we feel like posts often get lost in the shuffle. We’re going to take a step back and think about the best way to break it down while still being respectful of the real people involved. If you happen to think of any specific aspects, that would be really helpful to us with breaking it down. Thank you so much for your comment. We love hearing from you guys.

I agree with Cortney! The “in progress” is the most interesting part for me. Without the “in progress”, I am left scratching my head and thinking, “how did they do that?”

Thank you so much for letting us know! We will be sure to map out more in-progress posts while we walk through our projects. ;}

I LOVE seeing process and progress also. I especially like seeing how a design concept comes together…. as in creating a mood board. I seem to get really stuck with this part and without it there’s no finished project.

I find your humor absolutely hilarious. I love the post when you tell a good story. I also enjoy the reveal post and the look at the thought processes behind a reveal. And of course you free planner – What a great thing that is. 🙂

Thank you so much for letting us know, Angela… and for taking the time to comment. It means so much! So glad to know about these things. Hope you have an amazing rest of the week!

Love the before and afters, but I find your sight very hard to navigate. Ads always pop up, when you click on a link it would be nice to open a new window instead of having to go back and scroll through the post . This all may be my computer only. I enjoy your blog very much.

Thanks so much, Gigi – looking into that from our end, now. ;}
