Hello lovelies!
We are super stinkin excited about this little reveal today! We’ve been working on it for a while, and (thanks to our fab friends Tony at Evenpar Solutions + Aaron at RFE Hosting) we’re thrilled to share our fun new look with you!
We’ve decided that as the years go by, we will update our header. (Once upon a time, it looked liked this… and so did our name.) If you’ve been reading us since then… or even before … you deserve a medal for sticking with us. ;} We knew it was time to update these guys. Only this time, I kind of kept going, and decided it was time for a little revamp. You can take the designer out of the blog but you can’t take the blog out of the designer? None of that even makes sense? I tried…
We’re the same old us with a little more fun. Everything you like about us is still here, but a little more organized. So feel free to click around and explore a bit. We want you to feel comfortable with our new look… and we think you’re gonna like it!
Here’s a few of our fave new features:
Here you’ll find our book, our prints, and eventually, more! We hope to start updating our art shop when we can with new creations, and here you’ll find prints of my original paintings on stretched canvas and water color paper. These prints are so high quality, your friends will be asking you if you painted it. Sweet! Be sure to check out our store, here!
Of course, we can’t decide which newfangled thing we’re the most thrilled about, but I am super stoked about this aspect. Here in the gallery, you’ll find both the reader’s gallery, and the lazy gal’s gallery.
The reader’s gallery is where our fabulous readers can upload their amazing projects to our site, for everyone to see. Projects from THH. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to, and this is a great place to share with each other!
The lazy gal’s guide is exactly the same.. but any project you’ve taken on to simplify : whether it be to clean up, clean out, or organize that awesome sock drawer…. There’s inspiration in encouragement and power in numbers. So we can’t wait to see what progress you’ve made! Get to it, guys! Share away.
In both sections you’ll see upload forms, and after the first submission is made, you’ll be able to browse the lovely photos of our amazing readers. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to.

Okay. I lied. My very favorite new little something on our site? This fabulous arrow. You’ll find it on your right when you scroll far enough down on any page, and when you hover over, said fun little arrow will become darker. Simply click to be taken back to the top. Tada! Like riding a bucket back to the top of a well, on a zip line. ;}
Finally, you may spy a few little tweaks here and there that we may need to make… Thank you for being patient, as doing an overhaul like this is a major undertaking. We’re just thrilled to have wonderful readers like you to share it with!

It looks pretty darn awesome!! Love that it still keeps the same feel as before, especially since I already loved your design 🙂 I must ask, though, is there a way to see the reader submitted projects in the reader gallery and lazy gal’s gallery without submitting anything? Or is it that there just isn’t anything to see yet? Also, I can see a few things that could need to be moved a smidge to improve the look, but I don’t know if you are already working on that, and I don’t want to be a nitpicker… So yeah all in all LOVE it!

Love the new header design and the arrow. You did a fabulous job!
Been reading for awhile now, and have to say I love the new look and usability! So cheery and fresh with all the bright colors and patterns.
Love the new look and I think I used that little arrow ‘to the top’ in about 30 secs after visiting. Great new features, now off to shop your shop!

A new look is always exciting! I love your header photos, all of them. And ‘to the top’ buttons are tops!
Congratulations on all the fun things happening with THH. I am so excited your shop is open! I inquired a little while back about purchasing your artwork and you said something was in the works….and here it is. The nest egg painting has been a favorite since I first saw it; my babies are referred to as my “three little birds”. Silly yes, but it makes me smile.
