Hello wonderful readers of The Handmade Home! I am Clemence from Oh The Lovely Things and I am more than thrilled and honored to be guest blogging today on Ashley’s brilliant blog.
School is just around the corner. As a kid, this time of year was one of my favorites. During the last week of summer break, I would look forward to going back to school to use my new fancy eraser and pull on my new dress. Actually, I have to admit that even as a grown-up, I still love the Back to School atmosphere! So I would like to share with you some of my favorite lovely, cheery school supplies for kids, as well as a few fashion ideas for kids, inspired by Pantone’s color report, that states emberglow coral, deep teal, and nougat brown and coffee browns as some of the hottest colors of fall 2011. I hope you will enjoy them!

A Moomintroll Notebook? let me swoon! My aunt, in Sweden, would send us Moomintroll books when I was a child. They are chapter books so I’d say 8 and up. When Natalie was a baby they had a plastic dish set at IKEA, that my mom had to get. Of course my mom love IKEA at the holidays when she can buy all her stuff for our Christmas Eve Smorgasborg. Thanks for sharing the mood boards which are so fun!
