Hello lovelies, and happy happy Friday! You’re in for a treat today!
Do you guys remember Duncan + our Masterpiece Theater classics from once upon a time in the Mills history of finding just the right piece?
Our amazing friend Tiffany revamped those with her mad upholstery skills, and helped us transform these pieces for beautiful living room finds with our family.
I love nothing more than watching my friends bloom in their own career paths. Her gift has taken her into an entire realm of awesome possibilities, and it’s a sheer delight to observe her journey and see where it takes her. We adore her work.
Tiffany and her Husband, Jere own (and she manages) the wonderful Montgomery Antiques & Interiors. For any of you local friends, you’re probably familiar with the name. If you’ve yet to stop by, you’re in for some eye candy goodness today.
Montgomery Antiques & Interiors is one of those gems for those one of a kind, vintage or antique finds. They carry plenty of unique selections for your home. This process is a real art… one of cultivating beautiful pieces from various eras and navigating that multifaceted avenue in one of a kind finds for the home.
The other day they were kind enough to let me photograph some of their eye candy goodness to share with all of you.
If I had a place for that cabinet above, it would be sitting in my home right now. Swoonage.
What I love the most about Montgomery Antiques & Interiors is the versatile looks behind all of their vendors.
One moment I’m oogling over an antique murano glass mirror or chair,
And the next I’m swooning over the most excellent bookends ever.
They carry such a wide array of beautiful pieces. Those one of a kind, forever pieces that really go into all the details of making a house, your home.
They also offer (of course) custom upholstery, as well as clock and lamp repair.
Their stunning antique silver collections had me at shiny.
I have a major weakness for vintage chandys and old lamps.
Their collection of antique and vintage jewelry that look as though they were handed down from Betty Draper’s personal pieces. I want to buy every single one and put them on my beautiful 50’s dresses. That I don’t own. It would be amazing.
Their massive antique and vintage book collections are enough to keep one there for hours. I was all, Belle in the Beast’s library. I was practically belting out show tunes in the aisles. When the moment moves you…
From beds, to statement pieces… Such beautiful, elegant finds!
Want to know the best part? For our fabulous local friends, you guys are cordially invited to Montgomery Antiques and Interior’s Spring Open House. From April 5th – April 7th. (Friday – Sunday). Here, you can visit fifty talented vendors, and view their amazing styling. They’ll be sharing super inspiring ideas for designing your own personal entertaining tablescape.
From Tiffany : My inspiration for this focus on tablescapes was a lecture I attended last year by Eddie Ross at the Antiques and Garden Show in Nashville, Tennessee. I was so inspired by how he took modern fabrics and items and mixed them with traditional china and accessories to create these fantastic tablescapes. He also included items on the table such as salt cellars, brass figurines and colorful candles. They were some of the most beautiful tablescapes I had ever seen and something anyone can accomplish with their personal pattern or a pattern inherited from a grandmother or loved one.
If you live anywhere near this fabulous treasure trove, be sure to make a drop by that weekend. If you don’t live nearby but you’ll find yourself close on a trip to the beach for your spring break getaway, it’s probably the perfect timing. Be sure to swing by and take in this antique design goodness for yourselves, and be sure to check out Montgomery Antiques & Interiors on Facebook!
What’s your very favorite antique piece that you own? Spill it! We’d love to hear!
Have an inspired day, y’all!
