Once upon a time, I was sitting with a certain someone, who was telling me aaaaaallllllll about their new planner.
And it wasn’t a short mention.
It was a very long story.
About their spiffy new planner.
This person was well known by me. And may or may not be a familial relation… but no names shall be mentioned in said story to protect the oblivious innocent.
Because this is a bit of a tragic story. Of money not-so-well spent.
And I was all, side eyeing them.
I mean, I reeled it in a little, but the side eye was a bit severe.
Because we have one that’s for free.
FREEEEEEEEE.
Free.
We’ve been offering it for three years now.
I think. I kind of lost count.
Did you know that?
It’s okay if you didn’t because a. we promise we’re not totally self important {we try to err on the self-deprecating side} but 2. we just want you to know… because options and d. free.
We know free things aren’t for everyone, because… we honestly have no idea.
But still. Free.
With cover pages…
{In two sizes. In different design options. I’m bad at math, so I don’t know how many different combos you could come up with… there’s a lot of different probabilities and I pretty much need a droid from Star Wars to tell us… but just know, different combos. And stuff.}
And the year at a glance…
And contacts…
Birthdays and anniversaries…
And goals…
And quotes…
And fun monthly views…
And weekly views…
And so…
Much…
More.
{See: chore charts and lesson plans to name a few…}
Yes, the nerd is strong with this one.
We’re biased and stuff, but we think it’s pretty cute.
But hey. You don’t have to take our word for it…
You can drop 150 smackers on a planner, if you want. It’s a free country, after all.
We’ll probably side eye you, though.
Get it all here. For free.
We just wanted to remind you.
Because ’tis the season!
Have an inspired day!
{Psssst! Nothing makes us happier than seeing them put to good use. Use #thehandmadehomefreebies on instagram, and we’d love to see them there!}
Can I just say “amen”! Although, silly me, I always look forward to your amazingly AWESOME planner – that is FREE! And I download it, print it out and use it, and then I go and spend $75.00 (!!!!) on another planner that I never use, but I can’t return because it was off the internet and really?!?! I always come back to your planner. Have I learned my lesson? Yes. This post has shamed me into learning my lesson. Finally. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You are wonderful.
HAHAHA you are so funny! Just good humor – no real shame intended but I am so glad you can use it! Happy printing and planning! #shameshameshame ;}
yes, I do know! I’ve been using it for three years- AKA since I found it- and it’s AMAZING! I’m using an old f5 file-folder in light violet whose cover I decorated with, well, stuff… and to be honest, I even found free pages for movies and books writtend and seen during the year to add to it…
So glad you’re making it work for you! Happy happy planning!
THANK YOU!! Admittedly, some of us are simply planner addicts….always thinking there is a better one out there. And so we spend money. And we might, ahem, buy one in the summer for the school year. Then November/December rolls around and we start eyeballing the latest ones in the stores. BUT I also always come back to yours. The Handmade Home planner is wonderful. And beautiful. And comes with choices so that it can be customized to my preferences/needs. And ,IT’S FREE! I look forward to how your planner might change as your kiddos get older. I have high schoolers/college age kids and have a system (using your planner) that works best for us. Happy new year to your family!
HAHA! So glad you can use it Jen! ;} Happy new year!
It’s my second year of using your lovely FREE (music to my ears) planner. I’m keeping pages from last year (contacts, birthdays and anniversaries, etc) and just adding the new dated stuff. I print it out on A4 paper and have it in a big lever arch file that sits open in the kitchen so we can all see what we’re doing that week. To do list, menu planner and weekly homework grids are laminated so I can write on them with whiteboard pen and wipe them off and redo at the end of each week. It’s been incredibly useful! Thank you!
Thanks so much for always offering this planner for free. I look forward to downloading it each year and use it EVERY DAY! It’s wonderful and I hope you know how much all of us organizational crazies love it.
Just wanted you guys to know how much I appreciate that you have put this planner out here for free. I started using it in December and I cannot tell you how much it has helped me keep my day on schedule. I love how cute it is and I also love that I can print the pages I want and leave out the ones I don’t need. Such an amazing planner! I’ve been telling all my friends about it!! Thanks again!!
I so love this! I found a cute A5 size binder in the dollar spot at Target that coordinates perfectly with your colors. It was planning heaven!
It has been three years! Have obsessively looked for next years every summer! Thank you for this!
This sounds like something I would love, and don’t mean to sound
like a ditz, but don’t you need “firmer”? paper than regular printer
copy paper for a planner? What do people mean when they say they printed on A4 paper, and bought and A5 size binder? If its a firmer paper thats needed, like
I’m thinking, would it work on my regular printer?
Excellent site. Plenty of useful info here.
I am sending it to several buddies ans also sharing in delicious.
And of course, thanks for your sweat!
