visiting new orleans with kids – a recap
This past summer, we had the most incredible vacation with our family. It was a place we thought we would probably never take our kids, because frankly, we just had never considered it as a destination with children. But we had the most wonderful time when visiting New Orleans with kids.
So when the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau contacted us, we lined up the dog sitters and packed our bags with children in tow. We can honestly say, it’s probably the most fun we’ve ever had as a family. So today, we wanted to share our wrap up post, complete with a sweet little video the kiddos wanted to create about their experience.

I seriously would have never guessed that you guys could have such a great time with kids in New Orleans. They do have a reputation of a party city but it looks like you had a blast and found plenty to do there! I will have to check it out next time with the family. I am going to have to read up on your other posts too. Thank you for sharing all of this. I know it (sharing all this) was a lot of work, but you made it look fun!

I wouldn’t have guessed that this was a good city to go on vacay with the kids, but now I’m considering it for next summer. Looks like a cool place.

I have never been to New Orleans but at least I got a visit through you! I love the architecture.
Thanks for your post on the traveling industry. We would also like to add that if you are a senior taking into account traveling, it really is absolutely essential that you buy travel insurance for older persons. When traveling, retirees are at high risk of experiencing a health-related emergency. Having the right insurance plan package in your age group can look after your health and provide you with peace of mind.
