Hey hey everyone! We’re thrilled to be here today with a fun post for Valentine’s with some of our favorite people! Be sure to check out the links below for more fun, easy Valentine’s treats ideas!
Valentine’s is one of our fave holidays, and we always love coming up with fun ideas for the season. Here’s an easy treat sure to be whipped up in just a few moments, that the kids can easily make, too!
We even included these simple, fun free labels to include, if you want to bag them up and give away as treats!
So without further ado, here’s what you’ll need:
• meltable white chocolate bars or white chocolate morsels – we purchased the bars and melted about three
• 7 candy canes per – perfect for those Christmas leftovers – just make them to taste
• bowl + spoon + microwave
• heart molds
Full credit to our sweet neighbors for inspiring this recipe – they made some for us at Christmas, and it was so easy, we wanted to try an easy Valentine’s version to get rid of those candy canes that were still sitting around.
I had my little assistant in the kitchen, and we whipped these up in no time.
Simply unwrap and place the candy canes in a bag, to be broken up. We used a large ziploc bag + a wooden spoon.
Hulk Smash: Hit until broken up into smaller pieces.
In a glass bowl in your microwave, heat the white chocolate on melt mode, checking often and stirring occasionally.
Note: You can also use a double boiler for this.
Stir the peppermints into the melted white chocolate, and pour into the heart molds while still warm.
Place the heart molds in the freezer for a faster hardening process. When they’re dry, pop them out and you’re ready to go!
Such a yummy little treat for Valentine’s day!
