fabric inspiration {and a giveaway!}

Hello lovely friends and TGIF!

I always hate declaring that it’s Friday in posts… or whatever day it is. Because then people find this post on like, say, a Tuesday, and they’re all, “Um, it is NOT Friday. It is Tuesday.” It’s like making a movie with references to modern day culture and then it’s totes dated. Kind of like the word TOTES, but it’s a slippery slope. Obvi. And for what it’s worth, I’m reeling it in. Also, Clueless is like, totally a classic. I just felt like awkwardly greeting everyone. I’ve officially had too much coffee to the point where my face is numb. Moving on.

First things first: We thought our studio launch this week wouldn’t be complete without a little bit of a celebration in the form of a giveaway!

And when you’re done entering there, we thought we’d share a little fabric combo inspiration for our lines because it’s something new that we’re really excited about {duh} and because while they don’t go the matchy matchy route, that’s kind of intentional.

We always struggled finding great one of a kind patterns that really rocked our home, and this is one of the main reasons we’ve had so much fun creating these. So needless to say, we’re thrilled about it all. The fun part is that these patterns definitely go together in fun ways. Like an awesome outfit you’re thrilled to wear with the perfect accessories. Except it’s not an outfit… it’s in your home.

Bad metaphors aside…

Today we thought we’d share a few of our very favorite combos for a great, organic colorfully layered look with our fabrics. Though we are definitely not fabric Czars, {what?} and we can NOT WAIT to see a few of the things your brilliant minds come up with, here’s a few of our very faves. A little fabric inspiration:

Oh but wait! Before we begin {she said in her best dork official announcers voice} a few things to know about our fabrics :

1. They’re one of a kind. Made by us.

2. They come in two weights – one is a lighter weight cotton, great for quilting, clothing and home decor. And the other is a heavy cotton twill, perfect for heavier projects like bags, upholstery or other fun projects. The choice is up to you.

3. ALWAYS enjoy our free shipping! {In the continental US. Yes, we’re working on international. Yes, we know. Eye roll.} We think that’s really important because sometimes shipping prices can jump you like a ninja and then you’re left with 60 buck additions in your cart, and that’s just depressing. There’s no need to be depressed with fun colorful fabrics like these!
