This is a little bit of a labor of love. Something unexpected, because I think I actually needed it more than anything. I’m thrilled to make this free watercolor alphabet and offer them here today!
I tend to get bogged down these days with real work stuff, which is great because it means we can support our family and grow as a business. We’re designing spaces, managing projects for clients, creating content for brands, and more. You know… day job stuff just like everyone else and their livelihoods. In addition to that, we’re building a long-awaited wing onto our house-which we’re thrilled for. But sometimes, I just really need to get back to my roots again, and create for our site. But creating actually takes a TON of time away from the other stuff, thus my conundrum.
I was craving something colorful and fun to offer you guys. Just like I crave sushi… It never really goes away.
I have a bit of spring fever, and I was really feeling that winter funk. {I’m pretty sure it’s January 67th now.} This opened that little creative floodgate again. Sometimes I just like to get back to the basics of why I started this little blog once upon a time, in the first place.
Because who knew that writing about my kids’ birthday pancakes and offering freebies, would turn into a full time design gig? Life’s funny like that, I guess. So what I’m trying to say is that I’m grateful to be here. And roots are good.
I decided to put some of my original florals into a fun pattern, that anyone can use. Each little letter is uniquely different. And they each print out to 25″ x 25″, maybe larger.
And obviously, smaller.
The possibilities really are endless.
I even uploaded this not-so-little ‘M’ that you see above, to smallwoods site to have it printed. You can download, and do the same for instant, framed art at any company that prints.
These make great gift ideas! And great art for just about any space.
I just love all the fun colors.
I’d love to see these X’s and O’s in some kind of arrangement for Valentine’s!
Want them?
Here’s access to the whole folder, here, full of letters.
Just click and select your letter, and download +print.
My only request? {I feel that this should go without saying, but sadly, it has to be said.} Don’t sell these and ruin it for everyone. You wouldn’t believe the requests that we get, to do so. That’s illegal. And this is weeks of my original work. Please don’t.
We truly hope you enjoy these pretty little letters in a variety of ways.
Happy creating!
And if you use it, please share! We’d love to see it online. Sharing is how we are able to keep offering these for free!
