We’ve been in recovery mode all week.
The exhaustion that comes from a lot of fun and work. Non-stop small talk, deep talk, laugher and inspiring moments at a the Haven Conference this last week was amazing. But if we’re being honest, it also wore us out. Like the just-got-home-from-summer-camp kind of exhaustion. So, we feel like we’ve been catching up a little. We’re slowly but surely starting to feel “normal” again! Including our Handmade Savvy Saturdays. Here’s a few things you may have missed {in two weeks} on The Handmade Home:
• on trends and why you can ignore them
• free wall art: no grit, no pearl
• halfway there: to malone, at nine
• best wallpaper sources: the ultimate wallpaper guide
• House of JC Style + a really fun announcement
• the font snob club : July 2018
• hurray for the tooth fairy torch
So without further ado, here are a few of our faves from the www this week:
• a fun tour of Sarah-Hamlin Hastings {the designer behind Fritz Porter’s} home via charleston magazine
• 40 things everyone but you is doing this summer {aka a satyrical look at all things social media}
• the unlikely crime fighter for decades-old-crimes? a geneologist
• a doctor asks terminally ill kids what really matters in life – and here are their answers
• how to use an embroidery hoop as a weaving loom
• a sneak peek of the most GAWGEOUS book ever, and how to make a flower crown
• this before and after of a bathroom and a great painting tip
What were some of your favorite finds from the www this week? We’d love to hear!
Have an inspired day!
