If you remember from our last post, we were thrilled to show you a little taste of our children’s bonus from for The House For Hope. And today, we think you’re definitely up for a treat in the tour of all tours department. We have sneaky peekys of a few of our favorite rooms, and just wanted to show you what you’re in for if you can tour the home in person!
Of course a full on photography tour isn’t as fun without a friend by your side, so Karianne from Thistlewood Farms and I had a blast checking it out together.
And duh, what’s a fun friend’s visit without lunch: pizza, laughter and the good times that soon ensued… the best relationships are the ones where you can always pick up right where you left off, after all. The genuine ones that just leave you happy + refreshed.
You can see the tour on her site today, too. It’s interesting that perspective truly is in the eye of the photographer. I love checking out the different eyes people have for all things interiors, styling and angles. Or how they view their subjects, as a whole. So be sure to check out her version of the tour, too. It can be fascinating, really. Hop on over or bookmark it for later if you have a little time on your hands… {::rocks head back and cackles ominously out loud at the idea of anyone having time on their hands::} but do check it out. Perspective is oh so interesting.
The details in this house are absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth seeing in real life, because there is so much that I know we left off… or else the post would be a quadrillion web pages long…
But it’s packed with eye candy, for sure.
Let’s begin, shall we?
When you enter through the front door, there’s a great little dining room to the left. The other door in the dining room area leads to the pantry/kitchen/butler’s pantry.
The foyer opens into the option of walking upstairs, or straight back to the rest of the house.
The banister is one of my favorite elements. It’s the little things.
There’s also a nice little study in the front, right side of the house… opposite the dining room.
Of course, we love Lucy’s kitchen ideas for the space!
The cabinets are very modern farmhouse, with lots of storage space to spare.
Yes, I will take this amazing butler’s pantry…
And a glorious “real” pantry, as well… which is oh so adorably stocked.
This chandy in the living room is everything.
The living room is connected to the kitchen, for a nice open living area. The doorway to the left leads to the master.
Which is just perfect.
I kind of want to revamp our master a little now, since it will be a while before our own redo ;}
And yes, I did take a mirror selfie.
And I will also take this bathtub. I’m having our old school clawfoot withdrawals.
All this space. Wowsa.
Yes, I did just write wowsa.
We included a few little vignettes from a few of the extra bedrooms upstairs, because there’s so much more to see.
A guest room…
Two bedrooms with a jack + jill bath…
And the kid’s bonus room. You can see more of our space with all our details, here. We couldn’t have pulled this one off without our amazing sponsors and incredible readers who filled these bookshelves {and more that we couldn’t even photograph!} with all the books for the space. They’re going to some very deserving kiddos later so we can’t wait to give them away. The book nerd in me definitely enjoyed leafing through a few. Pssst – This artwork will be available on our site next week!
More beautiful art was contributed on loan from some amazing art dealers.
And back down stairs… Rhoda a-la Southern Hospitality did a beautiful job choosing furnishings for the laundry/mud room… We were smitten by the wall full of subway tile and have plans of our own walled version once our basement is complete!
This is located right off the kitchen/ {three car} garage area.
The adult bonus room has it’s own staircase, and was tackled by the rockstar that is Thistlewood Farms… my pizza partner in crime. Yes, I did just write that. This space was larger than our own home’s great room.
Definitely awesome for all things adult escape… though something tells me our own kids would probably take over… That awesome sectional is oh so comfy + from La-Z-Boy. Be sure to check out her site for more details on it all.
We love the cozy choices she made to bring the space to life.
Many of the pieces you see here will be available for purchase, and some will be auctioned off for the children of Middle Tennessee. The proceeds from the tickets to tour the house will also be a part of the donation. The house itself will sell, and that too will be donated.
There were more porch designs and spaces we weren’t even able to include in this post… It really goes on and on and on. We hope you enjoyed this little sneaky peeky… though our photos certainly don’t do it justice, we hope that you can come check it out for yourself and see all the amazing details! There is just so much to capture, and there were a TON of people contributing to this huge project. We adore that so many people with a great heart for good causes came together for such a good thing. We know that even if we tried to include everyone, we would most definitely and unintentionally leave some of the incredible designers out.
For all the details and all the good stuff, and links to all the designers, be sure to check out Carbine + Associates for both tickets and more designer details on their site. The proceeds go to a great cause… and we’re just really honored to be a part of it.
We hope you enjoyed the eye candy. Have an inspired day!

All the heart-eye smiley faces! Can’t wait to come see it, and maybe even meet you guys, too! đ Hey, when I mapped it I noticed the location is super close to one of my kids’ all time favorite restaurants (mine too!). Have you visited Henpeck Market yet? YUM!!! Such a fun place, we are planning to lunch there after we do the tour!
ashley @ the handmade home says
HAHAHAH! Jamin told me to say, you remember the show Cheers… where everybody knows your name? That’s us and our relationship with Henpeck. It’s hands down our obsession – we live two minutes away! ;D Maybe we’ll be able to see you there – thank you so much for your sweet support!

Hey! It’s up for sale,so the proceeds go to numerous causes in middle Tennessee to benefit children. The items inside are either auctioned off for a good cause also, or donated. Not all, but most. They benefit so many amazing charities, it’s hard to keep up with but you can definitely read more in detail on their site – thanks so much!
