Hey y’all! The fabulous Kristin from The Hunted Interior is back today with a super fun project that’s sure to knock your socks off and yearn for warmer weather. So without further ado…
In between ice storms & #SnowJams this year we have been tempted by gorgeous sunny 65 degree weather down south that has me dreaming of lawn parties & outdoor entertaining. Each year I like to add a few fun pieces to my “Let’s Throw a Party!” arsenal including a fun table cloth or a gorgeous set of plates. It is so easy to freshen up the simplest of tables with a little color & pattern! Plus, with a few new sources, you don’t have to break the bank!
One of my favorite new sources is H&M home. Their prices are kind of ridiculous & I appreciate the fact they have a little more charm than some of their competitors. With some of the vases above starting at $3.95 & the tablecloth maxing out at $17.95 you can afford to have a little fun with your table settings.
Being from the south, I truly appreciate old jars as vases & think the idea of mixing a bunch of similar vessels down the center of the table makes such an impact. When creating a look like this, the fool proof way of adding flowers is to keep them all the same (or at least the same color!) this will make your hodgepodge collection feel chic & put together.
I also enjoy a little whimsy when I entertain. The mixing of the patterns, the gold glittered serving spoons & the “Having A Ball” Ball Jar cookies all aide in making this Southern Soiree come to life!
So the next sunny day, I’ll be out on the patio with my jars & glittered spoons. Y’all are more then welcome to join me!!

I had no idea H&M had things like that, I ordered the table runner that matches that tablecloth. Love it and the perfect color and pattern to bring some Spring into the house!
