Hello lovely friends! We’re back today with a quick little post on what we did for our studio (sneak peek) transformation + our quick handmade shelves from last week. I meant to give a source for the brackets but we received quite a few questions on them, so I thought I would share here so no one misses it.
Everywhere I looked for brass brackets, they were either out of stock, not the right look (see: highly decorative, and we were going for a simple shape) backordered or super expensive. Most of the time, just super expensive. [More than 25 per bracket (we needed 8 total) was just not something we wanted to spend a large portion of our budget on when I had my eye on a pretty chandy instead… yes. I have a weakness for chandys. No judging.)
So after looking for a while, I spied these. Fell in love with the shape and the price, and decided to spritz them with our fave gold spray paint for the look we were going for. {We’ve used a few versions of gold, and we think this is the purdiest}
And there ya have it. It really is that simple.
Tada! The perfect shape + a fraction of the price. Up next to the real brass pieces I have, and this color isn’t far off, either. ;}
We hope this helped with any questions you had! Have an inspired day, y’all!

These are gorgeous! I’ve been sourcing out floating shelves for our nursery and wish these weren’t $90 shipping to Canada!
You’ve inspired me to find some awesome brackets instead of traditional floating shelves.
