Fall is creeping closer, even though in my world, it can be summer forever. I have to say though, I’ve neglected my gardening duties a little more than I wanted to this summer because of all the crazy things we’ve had going on, and I’m ready to get back into it. I have a few plans up my sleeve for fall AND next spring, and I can’t wait to expand in fun ways.
This little garden has served as my happy place all summer, even if it has a few more weeds than usual. I am still a novice at best, but I do love getting outside and getting my hands dirty. There’s something therapeutic about it, to say the least.
When I was sharing my little zinnia garden and other various areas over the summer, a few sweet readers had a few questions about it. That prompted me to do a little round-up of sorts, since they say every fall is a second spring, and it’s a fun time to start thinking about a few fall additions, as well as what we’ll be taking on next year. So without further ado, here are a few of my very favorite gardening finds! Let’s get out there and distract ourselves with projects… and get our hands dirty! {Obligatory disclaimer: Some of these are affiliate links so that I can continue to find and share fun things for all our sweet readers, and also funding for my clear flower addition. Thanks so much for understanding!}
• roo gardening apron • a handy garden bag to hold all the things – even my water bottle • collapsable garden bag • this raised garden bed is my very favorite
• a handy spade is always underrated • these fun garden lights • this crack weeder • Neem Oil – for all things harmful pests
• gloves so you don’t have to sacrifice your nails + you can feel like wolverine • these garden stakes for all things dahlia growing + more • knee pads
• clipper set • velcro tape to help those climbing varieties grow! • miracle grow is perfect for flowers • this watering can – available in multiple colors!
• wide brim hat -because I’m embracing my inner grandma • this kneeling pad • this weed barrier is perfect for the weed conundrum
• propagation station – if anything, it’s perfect for all those flowers you’re going to grow!
• grandpa’s weeder • a hose that doesn’t get tangled • this water hose holder – helps keep it all corralled
• What I grew I actually ordered here: these dahlias, giant zinnias {I love that this includes white!} + these zinnias as well. I also splurged and spent some money on the “fancy ones” – if you google, you’ll find them. Not worth it. They all died, and I’ve grown zinnias for years. So I’ll stick with these.
These are some of our very favorite finds! Be sure to check out more of them here , and while you’re at it… the entire little collection of things we love, here!
What are some of your favorite gardening tools? What are you tackling outdoors this fall? We’re ready to return to our favorite place and we’d love to hear. Have an inspired day!
