What are some of your favorite ways to bring color into your home? We’re actually asked for suggestions often, and thought we’d make our top list of ways to spruce up a space, when it comes to all things color! So without further ado, 9 easy ways to add color to your home!
1. 9 Easy Ways to Add Color to Your Home: Accessories
Okay. We know this one seems super basic. But It’s at the top of the list when it comes to simple. It’s the easiest way, especially for renters or people who aren’t up for a major home change, to bring in color and layers of interest. We love simple backdrops that are easy to change out later, on a whim.
I show this space often as an example for many things, but it’s a wonderful example of bringing in color through simple ways… even in a kitchen.
This is hands down the quickest way to ramp up the color in your home. Pillows, rugs & more are great ways to bring in lots of personality and change out often, if you want.
2. 9 Easy Ways to Add Color to Your Home: Statement Pieces
That unique piece of furniture that’s been given a new lease on life with a fresh shade, or an interesting flea market find is a great way to bring in a focal piece to your home. Nothing strikes up a conversation faster than our blue piano, after all. Consider a statement piece that plays nicely in the space to bring things to life.
Helpful Tip: Not comfortable with some bolder choices? Try colors that actually read as a ‘neutral’ instead. Emerald green for the win in these chairs below for example or a softer color for bookshelves, are beautiful ways to bring in some interest without full-on commitment. {We realize blue pianos aren’t for everyone. }
3. 9 Easy Ways to Add Color to Your Home: Art

Support small businesses! {support ours- yes this is a shameless plug} Add interest with a thrifted find or bring in special family photography as an instant way to add meaningful elements, too. Sentimental pieces for the win.
