Hey guys! We’re super thrilled to be included in 320 Sycamore’s favorite things round up! A few fabulous sites have come together to share some of their favorite things for the holidays, and we are so excited to participate! {Be sure to check out the entire list of sites for even more ideas, below.} We’ve included a little bit of everything for every price range, and some sweet products and businesses you’re probably going to love, too. These are all things that we own and vouch for, that we just love for different reasons.
If you’ve never stopped by before, welcome! We are so thrilled you’re here. We’re Ashley + Jamin Mills, and together we run a design/remodeling business in Nashville/Franklin Tennessee. We also love sharing fun things with our readers here, from crafts, to kid stuff, inspirational finds, and some of our makeovers. We also love throwing in a side of real and {hopefully} amusing. So pull up a seat with a hot cup of whatever, and stay for a while!
So without further ado…
{Some of the links below are affiliate links, so that we may continue to provide fun content to you! Thank you for understanding.}
1. If you’re looking for that youthful glow, this scrub + oil combo are the very best. Especially in the doldrums of winter when skin tends to look dull and washed out. My daughter has Keratosis Pilaris and when we researched, this combo came up time and time again. {The pediatrician and dermatologist haven’t been able to give us much help other than telling us she’ll grow out of it. This has made a difference when she uses it regularly.} I started using it out of curiosity, and it’s a great scrub for your face, and then an oil combo morning and night for affordable, anti-aging moisturizing vitamins. I love the fresh look it gives me! My face feels fresh and looks younger, too.
2. A game changer for cleaning. Dirty grout – or any area? This one may seem silly but if you’ve seen our stories, it’s oh so satisfying. We combo out The Greenworks Tools drill + the Roto Scrub brush to clean showers in half the time. I actually use it with Go Clean Co’s Tide recipe {that my sweet neighbor shared with me} and the house is sanitary + smells so fresh and clean. TRY IT. We’ve even used this one on our pool.
3. Create Room – I know. This is one massive item. We’ve been in tight quarters for a while, and when you work from home in the apocalypse, it can be tricky. It’s brought sanity to my life, and they’re offering a discount to our readers on any of their products with the code HANDMADEHOME – read more about it here. School projects, ideas for the site, fun things with the kids, art and sewing supplies… and more… it’s an extra closet in your home.
4. Our free 2021 planner. – We have our yearly free version, and then our $5.00 version which includes over 1,000 files and combos, customizable just for you! Check it out here – for only 5 dollars, it makes an awesome, thoughtful gift for yourself or someone else in one big, easily printable file. These are created as one of a kind art by us, just for you. From adult planners to even student versions, there’s something for everyone.
5. The perfect deep blue nail polish color for fall. Because sometimes it’s the little things.
6. Moxie lashes – For special events, photography or just to feel a little more dressed up, these magnetic lashes are so easy to use. You won’t spend thirty extra minutes struggling with glue to get them on, and the Baby Lashes in particular give you just enough oomph without looking like you’re wearing a blown out tire from the side of the road on your face. Or maybe just a muppet. Less is more and these are awesome.
7. Mirror Ball – Because 2020 can use a little sparkle. It’s kind of what gets me through the doldrums of winter, and I absolutely love having one in my home, especially the large and in charge 24″ size. When the sunlight hits it just right, it’s magical and oh so happy.
8. Root for your school in style. This sweatshirt is obviously my fave {War Eagle!} but they have ALL the collegiate teams. Yep. Even Alabama. I kid. But everything they have is oh so cute! Hop on over to find your favorite! It’s also the softest thing I’ve ever put on…
9. Sonos. You’ve probably heard of them. But the Sonos One is so much fun, and it’s how we rock it out in the cabana. But not too loud because we’re middle aged and the neighbors would probably be annoyed and stuff.
10. These little trees from Target are so much fun and come in all the colors. I finally caved and bought some this year, and mixed these small ones in with more I scooped up from the dollar spot, and it was just a great way to spread some festive fun. Can’t wait to share with you guys how I’ve used them!
11. I’ve been trying to be healthier since the whole Covid-13# thing hit me like a ton of bricks. Yep. I was eating my feelings. Wheeee! I’m getting there slowly but surely with healthier choices, but these Goli gummies are oh so helpful. But I’m always looking for good ideas that have healthy benefits, and these have been great.
12. My favorite pair of rain boots in the best color ever. Sometimes I splurge on a good pair of shoes. The winters here can feel like Seattle, so this was a good investment piece to add to my wardrobe.
13. These fun candles to spread some good glow + mercury glass is so classic! {pssst… on sale}
14. I’m obsessed with Gold Lust everything, but their dry shampoo is the best I’ve ever used. It smells amazing, to boot. But I can’t take any credit here, my hairdresser is brilliant and told me all about it – if you live in Nashville/Franklin and need a gal – email me and I’ll shoot you her way. She’s our favorite.
15. This happy little pom pom garland is just what I need for all that feel good Christmas decor.
So thanks so much for tuning in to see some of our favorite things! We’re so honored to be a part of this little round up with 320 Sycamore.
Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous sites participating in the favorite things round up this year. They have some of the very best ideas!
