We’ve moved to the north. And by the north, I mean to Nashville from south Alabama. I know. You’re rolling your eyes. But one state up {considerably farther from the tropics of south Alabama} means things are different here. Insects are different. I remember seeing foxes and rabbits run rampant in yards and skunk season is a thing. It’s funny how changing one state can really alter the climate. We even had to learn how to winterize tools.
So the winters here can actually be very cold, grey, and wet. It’s a something no one really warned us about. This means we have to take extra precautions for preparing our home. For instance, all of our paint froze in our outdoor shed the first winter we were here, which was an eye opening experience since we didn’t even know that could happen. And more importantly, our tools have to be prepped for the colder months. If you’re not accustomed to winterizing anything, it can be a costly lesson learned when not done correctly. Today, we thought we’d share a little video how-to when it comes to winterizing your tools. Specifically, Greenworks Tools. Another reason we’re such fans.
We think you get the point. Time saved… and much better for the environment. Winning all around!
What is your favorite element when it comes to Greenworks Tools? Do you have any funny experiences from when you leanred how to winterize tools. We’d love to hear!

You guys are the cutest. Good point on the winterizing thing – we purchased our first greenworks tool last month and I’m so excited about it! Thanks as always for entertaining us

My dream this fall is a greenworks leaf blower. We have the greenworks lawnmower and I can’t say enough about how light and easy it is to use! I battle against using a leaf blower (noise vs convenience vs a forced workout) but since I’m on the other side of 60 (gulp), i am not looking forward to the annual 40 bags of raked up leaves. I used to ask the kids to help but, dang, they all grew up and moved away. The nerve! Lol

HA! Totally understand – and Greenworks is the best – you will LOVE their blower! Right now we keep ours just inside the side door where the kids always enter and exit because of all the leaves! This keeps them under wraps and out of our house.
