One of our favorite elements we’ve brought into our children’s shared space, is our original wallpaper.
It’s a simple way to bring in great color and pattern and so much more.
So today, we thought we’d share a little video from when we first moved in this fall, that shows a full how-to installation. A little step by step of the process, if you will.
We go over everything you’ll need… no grocery store feet necessary. #wedjustmovedinsothefloorsweredirty #watchwhathappenstothelight #icouldntfindmyclothes
So without further ado, how to install wallpaper!
{Refresh if it’s not loading – we think you’ll enjoy this one!}
We hope this helps clear up a little of the process, and makes you a little braver if you’ve never tackled it before. It was actually quite therapeutic once we realized our favorite light wasn’t going to fall from the ceiling. (Did you see it lower a bit afterwards? I almost killed over. ;})
We had fun tackling it all, and one wall was an easy afternoon project!
Oh, and to celebrate Valentine’s and taking on projects with your partner {without any significant injuries or breakages or bad words – okay fine maybe some bad words but lots of high fives all around} We’re taking 15 % off any of our wallpaper!
Just enter the code paper15 at checkout.
So hop on over and check out your fave pattern! We’d love to see you there!
Let us know if you have any questions… we’d love to hear from you.
Have an inspired day!

Hi! We have a slick birch paneling in our den/dining room of our 1976 house. It has wainscoting which I want to paint or wallpaper inside the wainscoting panels. Have you ever put it up on a slick/glossy surface? Do I need to sand beforehand? Do you think the wallpaper would still adhere? Thanks for any help.
