I’m kind of useless this week…{read: my kids are not in preschool and Aiden got waaaay too many new wii games that are a time-suck of addiction-yes, I am twelve again.} We’ve been drowning in weebles and princess dolls and legos, and…
so I decided to jump on the bandwagon with my own little version of a top ten for the year: just a few of my fave projects I tackled with the hubster. It’s fun to look back and see some of the projects I drove everyone else crazy with…and that we were fortunate enough to be able to do.
We’ll be back in full swing next week… I think I’m still enjoying a much needed break. For those of you who I’m officially boring…my utmost apologies. I’ll be back with a few randoms, soon. But if you’ve never been by before, please make yourself at home!
Without further ado, in no particular order:
We built a wall to enclose our back porch. And made it an indoor room, to suit the entire family.
Gave the dining room/entryway a fresh coat of paint, and a whole new look with new, refurbished pieces and fabric.

We totally gussied up the nerve to paint the island in our too-dark kitchen. I’m afraid we’ve opened up a whole new world of my own personal kitchen madness, as a result…Post to come on that one, later.
I moved our boys in together and made a playroom for the chillins.
