Wow. Has it really been 27 days since I posted some photos of my chilins? For shame.
I guess we’ve just been crazy around here, with projects, redos, work, and other what nots.
I hope you all had a fantabulous thanksgiving. Ours was crazy busy, but we really enjoyed it. We started out at my parent’s house. This was actually the only photo I took of all four. None of us thought about it until it was too late. {For shame again. Double penalty for the bad lighting. totally had to use my flash. gross. }
By the time we took this, the kids were mad and tired, and totally in their jammies…and Harper was all, what on EARTH are these weirdos doing holding me? And Aiden and Emmy refused to give up their weird matching pacies that we purchased at the grocery store so very last minute out of sheer desperation, which now serve as their favorites, but look like some leftover splatter paint design in neon green from halloween…
We spent the second half of thanksgiving in Birmingham with Jamin’s family. The kids were totally stoked about seeing their cousins. These kids are like stair steps, and when they get together, the theme is mass chaos. The next day, we ventured to the McWane center. This is them in the wind tunnel. Malone thought it was awesome.
“flying” a plane
Playing in the fountain. She was soaked before I realized what she was doing…
Malone was a little zombie after not sleeping for three days straight.
cousin clay with his mommy, aunt nay nay!
So much fun to watch their faces. Malone soon discovered the water. He could have stayed there all day.
and then there were three.
checking themselves out in the distortion room. I think the adults had just as much fun…
petting the sharks
this is my favorite. Impressions of Aiden and Emmy’s faces…
And Luke and Aiden…and Daddy and Aiden…. This just never gets old.
we topped it all off with giant light brites. Of course, Aiden wanted all orange. The child is obsessed with orange. I want one of these for my house. Hmmm I could totally make this, no? Probably not…
If you haven’t ever been to the McWane center in Birmingham, and you live in the area…head on over. It’s worth a small trip if you’re nearby. Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! We certainly did.
