Well, if it feels too soon, that’s because it definitely is. But we’re currently neck-deep in our first week of back to school here in Nashville. So far, we have the youngest one down, and we’re not messing around since college move-in day is a week away. I hate that he must miss his first-ever week of high school. Apparently, bad things happen in fours, or I miscounted. Either way, it helped me discover my hidden bat-sonar talent and I’m currently being shown what’s what by the universe, so I’m eating my feelings in the equivalent of cookie cake from a canceled birthday party. Meanwhile, I’m practically pushing meals to him under the door, a-la the Goonies with a broom handle, and I can’t decide if acknowledging this out loud is jinxing us or not. We’ve been dealing with it since Monday afternoon, so I’m officially rolling with it. Today, we thought we’d share a few aesthetic school supplies! Because I think my only consolation each year is that life is the Hello Kitty / Lisa Frank store that I choose to make it.
