When our clients contacted us about bringing a project to life, we were more than happy to help. The idea? Add a bathroom to their home, within the existing footprint. We’re revealing this bathroom space today, and couldn’t be more thrilled to share how we teamed up with Ferguson Showrooms to bring this space to life.
The clients’ reasoning for adding a bath to their home was multifaceted. But mainly it was to create a functioning guest space out of a closet on the front side of their home. On the other side of this far wall, was a small storage closet, and the underside of their existing staircase. The solution? Bringing the new bath space forward a little, and accessing the space beyond and underneath, as well.
When the layout was finalized, the work began and we sourced all the beautiful pieces to help bring their vision to life. The result is stunning for the happiest little bathroom, ever. Almost as if it’s just always been there. That was the point, after all.
With these classic finishes and smart design choices, we love the cozy result!
Upon entering, you can see their vanity on the right side of the bath.
On the opposite wall is the toilet space tucked away, along with a generous linen closet to compensate for that lost closet space they borrowed from to create this bath. The shower is the perfect size for both guests and those who live there alike.
We love the way all this came together to work seamlessly for the space. Here’s where Ferguson made this job simple.

Sources + Product Details:
Here are some of the details sourced from Ferguson, for the room!
• Vanity:
This vanity is as efficient as it is handsome. We adore all the finer details, from the countertop to the hardware and the extra finesse of those feet. For us, this was the piece that brought the space to life. We adore the traditional accent it brings to the space. This particular piece has options for finishes, so you can customize your find in the perfect way to polish off a room.
We love the simple lines and bold color, which it easily accents the room. The storage design is what gets us in this one, with plenty of room for a secondary bath. Because as we all know, storage is everything. It also comes with soft-close doors, which is always the better upgrade when it comes to spaces like these.
This one offers generous storage underneath in clever ways that help divide up the space. Always a bonus, especially in secondary bathrooms.
• Mirror + Vanity Light
Topping off the look of the vanity is this mirror from Ferguson. The softer lines brought a little bit of that curve appeal to the vanity alcove and sits beautifully in the room. Their home has high ceilings, so it was important to have something that took advantage of the visual opportunity, proportionally with their walls. This was the perfect fit.
The light is our favorite brand, Kichler, which is also carried by Ferguson. From vanity lights to chandeliers, ceiling fans, mirrors, and more… they definitely have you covered in that department as well!
Tile:
The gorgeous tile detail for the space really brought the entire room to life. Combining the herringbone pattern in the shower with with 1/3 offset was a great way to customize the room for a luxurious feel.
It was paired with their hex tile in a charming pattern for the floor. Unifying the space throughout, all the way from the shower to the closet was essential to keep it feeling as large as possible. In a smaller space, every square inch matters.
Shower + Vanity Fixtures + Accessories
Details matter. Ferguson provides dependable brands like Delta, and we were more than happy to bring classic lines to the space in these pretty little details. We kept the line consistent throughout, to help simplify the over all look.
Shower fixtures:
Ferguson helped bring it to life, with these great pieces for their shower. Here, we pulled from our favorite Delta line and used the Cassidy Monitor series.
A few benefits that we love: We know for a fact that plumbers love their universal parts. This makes their installation a breeze. This particular shower comes with the H2Okinetic® Shower, with more spray coverage and larger droplet size. This essentially means it uses less, with more. This model has a single-handle faucet for ease of use and temp control, too.
Grab Bar:
This grab bar was a must-have for their space, with future guests in mind. Another part of the Delta Line fits seamlessly with the entire design. This is, of course, covered under Delta’s limited lifetime warranty, and ADA compliant. We appreciate the fact that Build with Ferguson takes care of all the little details, too.
Sink Faucet:
We combined the Cassidy line again, with two cross handles. Not only is this faucet is customizable, but available in multiple finishes along with a simple to install for a stylish look.
Additional Accessories:
We completed the look with this simple towel bar and single bar tissue holder, and tied it all together with a tank lever for simple accessories to round out the space.
All of the pieces came together seamlessly for a timeless look that the clients can enjoy for years to come. What are some of your favorite elements? We’d love to hear! Have an inspired day!
