We enjoyed a great little getaway this last weekend, with two of our bubble families, camping.
It was just what our very souls needed. A chance to feel normal again for a hot second, and enjoy the therapy of the great outdoors.
There is a fine art to camping. It’s one that’s acquired over time, and usually a gained experience from your missteps.
Knowing what to take can make the whole trip fun and easy or full of “we should have brought” statements.
Over the years we’ve developed our shortlist of supplies that are must-haves, but every trip we add something new. And this year was no different.
This year’s addition really makes the list for all our outdoor adventures, from camping to tailgating, and adventures around the home.
Enter: The GreenWorks power inverter.
We first discovered this little gem when we looked for a way to bring easy electricity to the handmade hideaway.
But it’s been great for beach trips, powering equipment for photoshoots, and now keeping things running in more scenic and remote places. We even think once tailgating returns it’ll be a huge hit. Ahhh tailgating.
If only our fishing was a good as the view. Our friend took all the kids that afternoon, and no one caught anything, but it sure was fun anyway. It really is so amazing what is out there to discover. Nature really is a beautiful thing we sometimes take for granted.
Even if we lacked in the fishing, the inverter kept our devices charged throughout the day.
It’s compact, and easy to carry with a built-in handle, which makes taking it anywhere, even to the most remote places. It’s a simple device with some great built-in advantages.
- 300 watts for continuous output
- 2 USB outlets one for you and one for a friend to power phones, tablets, laptops, and more
- 120V A-power outlet to power televisions, speakers, lights, and more
- 4 Year Limited Tool Warranty
We don’t know about you, but we think this little guy is oh so brilliant.
We love that it works on the same battery we use for the GreenWorks blower, which is also a must-have when glamping to keep the camp area clean. It beats a broom is great for drying off tables or other areas after a rain or morning dew.
One of our friends who went with us literally has a list of supplies for each type of trip, and he keeps an old fashioned clipboard of said list. He commented that he needed to add it to his camping list for next time. We couldn’t agree more.
It really is the perfect accessory to all things outdoors, and such an easy way to take power on the go, wherever you choose to venture.
