Hello all you fabulous people! I’m on the road to Knoxville today, for my sister’s wedding, and I’m blessed to have some of my favorite bloggers graciously filling in for me this week-to provide you with some amazing, inspiring eye candy! Just a side note: these are their own fabulous homes, and all credit goes to them-so please pin responsibly. Thank you so much!
If you’re not already familiar with the fabulous Emily of Jones Design company, you’re in for a real treat today. She’s kind enough to share a peek inside her home. I love knowing a fellow graphic designer is out there in a blog mix, and her art is totally drool-worthy. From great tutorials, and all around honestly fabulous posts, you can’t help but love her. So, without further ado…

Welcome to our home. We have a busy household with four kids and two creative parents … whether we’re redecorating or hosting a party, we have fun with our house and want to use every ounce of it.
Just a few weeks ago, I painted house numbers on our front door. It makes it stand out from all the identical doors up and down our suburban neighborhood!
Once inside, you stand in the entry.
To the right is my office, which has gone through several phases in the past two years.
And here it is today at phase 3:
One thing that hasn’t changed is the painted wallpaper – I still love it!
A few steps beyond the office is this little nook of a space where the piano fits nicely and our initial gets its own wall.
Across from the wall of L’s is the dining room.
Next comes our kitchen, which we remodeled a year or so after we moved in.
We like it much better now.
Open to the kitchen is the living room. This room is always changing – pillows, furniture arrangement – it’s a fun room to switch up.
Our master bedroom was one of the last in our home to be decorated – why does that always happen to the poor master bedroom?
Our three boys share a room {happily, actually} with one extra bunk ready for a cousin for a sleepover.
And our baby girl {now 2} has her own pretty nursery. She is nearly done with her crib and I’ll do a little rearranging in her room soon.
Perhaps the hardest working room in our home is the mudroom.
Lots of hooks for coats and backpacks, bins for shoes and socks and some cheery color, too.
Our house is big and our backyard is small, but we’ve made the most of it and it is a nice extension of our home.
We are constantly rearranging, redecorating, dreaming up new ideas {aren’t we all?!} and are so thankful to have such a great place to call home.
