It’s so hot outside these days, and so busy with all things school starting back, sometimes it’s easier just to snack. We’re actually big snacky fans, and thought we’d share one of our recent favorites for all things apps and more: our 8 layer greek dip recipe!
There are a lot of this version floating around, but we’ve loved doctoring it up for our own version.
Feta + all the things for the win!
Here’s what you’ll need for the 8 layer Greek dip
• 12 oz tub of cream cheese
• 10-12 oz of hummus
• Garlic powder
• Italian seasoning
• Sliced Kalamata olives (9.75 oz jar)
• Grape tomatoes
• Cucumbers
• 6 oz crumbled Feta cheese
How to make it: This is an easy 8 layer Greek dip.
• Start by mixing the cream cheese in a bowl with 2 TBSP of garlic powder and 2 TBSP of Italian seasoning. (You can use more or less depending on how you want it to taste.) Then spread your cream cheese in a dish.
• Next, spread the hummus over the cream cheese
• Cut the tomatoes into small pieces. I like to half them, then half them two more times. Spread them over the hummus.
• Spread about 1/2 of the olives over the tomatoes.
• Cut the cucumber into slices and then cut them into wedges, I try to get 8 wedges out of each slice to make for easy dipping. Once cut, spread them over the olives.
• Finally spread the feta cheese over the mixture
{Yaaassss. All the feta.}
Serve with your favorite dipping mechanism, and enjoy! It’s perfect for a party, but recently we’ve been pairing it perfectly with Netflix. Either way, as always, let us know if you try it. We’d love to hear.
Have an inspired day!
