Hey guys! We are super thrilled to be here today as a part of the summer series, to share our favorite summer drink! This is truly a staple at our house, since our home tends to be a revolving door in the summers with our pool activity in the back yard. And we don’t mean to brag or anything {insert eye roll here} but we’re kind of famous for it amongst our friends for this little treat. Or maybe I should say infamous. ;} We’re so stoked to share the recipe today, we even made a cheesy vid to celebrate {more on that below} but today we’re sharing {The Mills’ Famous} Simple Summertime Margarita!
Today I’m joined by over 20 of my talented blogging friends who are also sharing their delicious summer drink recipes with you…

Thanks for tuning in today while we share our favorite summertime drink.
I’m so excited about it, I decided to be extra in my rainbow dress. Because sometimes drink s+ sharing recipes = rainbow dresses.
Oh, and before we forget, that fabulous pool boy sign is from here. We purchased one for a client and her pool house build, and then had to have one for ourselves.
These Margaritas are oh so easy with just a few key ingredients. Maybe we’re getting older, but we can’t even with the super sugary stuff. And we like to keep it as natural as possible, even when occasionally indulging in these treats. So here’s what you’ll need:
• Limes
• Tequila
• Triple Sec
• Agave
• water + ice
You may want a good juicer if you do fun stuff like this or entertain often – up until last year, we were doing these by hand, and Jamin had hand cramps. We had some sweet friends give us this as an anniversary gift last summer after thoroughly enjoying said margs ;}
No, I hadn’t had any margs when I took this photo.
Yes, the rainbow dress made me a little enthusiastic.
Squeeze out all your limes, into a measuring cup.
{The larger the lime you can find at your local store, the better, btw. It’s like a game that we play now.}
Then, depending on how much you want to make, it’s basically:
2 parts fresh limes
2 parts silver tequila
1 part Triple Sec
1/8 part Agave or to taste
Also, and you’ll thank me for this later: Add a little water and ice to tame them, as suitable to taste.
A helpful hint so you know where to start:
For four adults {more than enough for each person – a little over two generously proportioned drinks each} we start with about 16 limes. Each lime generally produces about 1 oz of liquid each.
Enjoy, and if you make them, we’d love to hear!
Your friends will think you are brilliant ;}
Thanks for tuning in today. Have an inspired day!
