If you guys have been reading for a while, then you know that right before everything got really insane with the Coronavirus, we’d just started this project for an amazing client. {You can see parts 1 (the main living area) + 2 (the bathrooms) to the project here.}
This has basically been an entire gut out, and timing couldn’t be worse for our client, who has been a total trooper.
On a note for us personally, new projects have come to a total halt. We’re grateful for every opportunity we have, and we know that there are bigger problems out there, so we’re patiently waiting for things to get better, while doing our best to flatten the curve. Our amazing contractor on this project has been incredible to work with, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the awesome people that we work with.
But the in-the-meantime projects that we’d already begun {and we have more of those coming up to share} we have very cautiously moved forward.
I don’t have any real side by sides right now, which I plan to have in the future. But when we pop in and out to confirm design choices or do a site check, we aren’t always holding our phones. But the difference is night and day.
So today, we thought we’d share a few of our progress photos with you. Because despite all things crazy, this project is going to be a gorgeous one.
Here’s our progress in the kitchen area so far…
If you remember, it hadn’t been touched since 1970 something.
Her floors are fabulous. I know she’s glad to see them. It’s hard to capture progress in full glory since it’s all been in stages.
Countertops went in this past week.
And the amazing Jeffrey Court tile went in yesterday.
WHHAAATTTTT.
These photos come nowhere close to doing it justice, but it glimmers.
And here’s a sneak peek of one of the bathrooms. Drool-worthy, I tell you.
Here’s the before…
Byeeee 1975
More of that Jeffrey Court tile -it’s absolutely gorgeous in this space. I love all the fun detail!
And let there be light, because that was just installed, too.
We can’t wait to show you how it’s all coming together.
Those Brizo Faucets are amazing, and we’ll be replacing hardware on the cabinets, soon.
We couldn’t be more excited for her. And all of this progress.
I hope to have some actual photos in the future, when it’s safe to finalize and style and do all the fun parts.
But in the meantime, thanks for tuning in for a few progress photos.
Have an inspired day!

Hey Elle! Thank you so much. It was originally linked here. Unfortunately, they have now gone out of business because of all this covid horribleness. I will try to get my hands on a brand name the next time we’re doing a site check, if that helps.
