Hey guys! We’re thrilled to be back with some fab friends of ours today, sharing our {second!} fall mantel!
And this one’s an easy fall mantel idea.
This little corner is probably the coziest nook in our house, and it’s come a long way.
Once upon a time, it looked like this.
And now, well, it doesn’t anymore!
Can you tell that I’m loving that we have two mantels in our house now? I guess technically, fireplaces. Yes, I am mixing up my words. But it will make the holidays extra fun! #allthestockings
For both fireplaces, we were thrilled to deck them out with Balsam Hill’s Autumn Market collection. They’re gorgeous and bring in so much vibrant color! We’re not ones to decorate hardcore for fall, but we can certainly do beautiful hues. And they’re just the perfect mix.
I also loved mixing in some of my metallic fairytale pumpkins to cozy it up a little.
The mantel is actually an old piece of barn wood that we grabbed up at a local store, and we love the character that it brings in, along with the mortar rub. And before I forget, the fabulous lights are from Kichler.
Oh! And see that art? It actually hides the TV so we have the best of both worlds. — Be sure to check out that post where we have all the details!
It’s hard to tell from the photos, but this is an up close look at what’s over the fireplace.
I like to switch out my art often, but this one has nice simple vibes almost like an abstract painting. When you look closer, they’re old house plans. My grandfather, though I was never able to meet him, built houses for a living and these are some of his plans. It’s really incredible what he was able to accomplish so long ago – he built my grandmother’s house in his off hours at night, himself.
I like to think that a love for home, and creating spaces runs deep in my veins, since this is what we do for a living. ;}
But I do love that before and after!
As always, thank you so much for tuning in. Let us know if we can answer any questions or shoot you in the right direction.
Have an inspired day!
And be sure to check out our friend’s awesome fall mantels, as well!
